The first question already bored me.

wow a rocky reference in Philly, and only marginal laughter.

Obama totally ducked the question, what a puss.

Way to go after Hillary's massive inconsistencies.

Obama-consistent socialist, paternalist, isolationist and pacifist.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

What a crew of moderators. Will they be able to refrain from cheering.

You have to love the Dems hitting on Hillary's inconsistencies. Day after day, lie after lie.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

What has destroyed the public's trust of the 11% Post Office Congress?

Ed Bull said...

Love that boy wonder, pointed out that Billary is insincere, dishonest, and untrustworthy.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Hillary, a man among boys! At least she knows that the Iranians are dangerous.

Ed Bull said...

can someone explain why privatized social security bad?

wow, I must be confused about history, the democrats are reasonable gatekeepers of the public purse?

The evil empressess is pissed.

My favorite hillary quote: why do I have to keep proving to people im not lying to them.

Ed Bull said...

Anyone else catch that dodd's campaign sent out information about having kids dressing up as Chris Dodd as halloween.

Ed Bull said...

Why are the moderators standing up? sorta looks odd to me.

Delware Joe can't win, but he sounds like he actually knows what he is talking about.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

not half as scary as hillary.

dems are such sissies. They cannot even defend themselves.

Listen to Dodd and Biden. We don't want Iran to think that we think that they are terror sponsers.

I mean, they have only been the number 1 state sponsor of terror on the state department list since 91.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

listen to the pathetic weakling obama, sounding just like neville chamberlain.

he actually said what kind of carrots can we give Iran. we will bribe them not to build nukes.

great plan.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Obama has fewer guts than Chamberlain.

At least Chamberlain was willing to fight over Poland. Do you think anything would make Obama fight? No!

Ed Bull said...

why are democrats unwilling to accept that there are evil people in the world, that sole purpose is to kill us.

20 minutes in, no richardson, gravel or the dwarf

Didn't Bush just impose economic sanctions on Iran as part of the mess he made out of Iran.

Then she said she would use diplomacy that included economic sanctions.

One of Sporer's Valley Debaters would have ripped that one up sophmore year.

Anonymous said...

For the same reason Obama doesn't wear the flag.

Ed Bull said...

dodd is upset he went to central america in the 80's and richardson forgot about it.

Ed Bull said...

no basis for war in Iran, little man you are joking right?

the problem is dennis, is you represent a fringe of america that is still smoking dope in their vw van.

Ed Bull said...

all of us are committed but not one of us has the balls to do a damn thing about it. everyone but hillary. starting to be scary that hillary has the biggest set on the stage.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Wouldn't the better question have been "will you use military force if necessary to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon?"

Ed Bull said...

The politics of fear, Im fearful that some americans actually believe this bs

Ed Bull said...

oh thank god, dodd went to central america in the mid 80s.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Biden qnd Dodd talk about an out of control Pakistan where the proAmerican President was re-elected based on a power sharing arrangement with the even more popular Benazir Bhutto.

Good move by Richardson. At least he does have some actual, albeit minimal (although was helpful in this last deal with North Korea which may prove significant over time)diplomatic accomplishments.

Ed Bull said...

oh, dennis please go to Iran, I think you will do really well there, actually, stay. i will pay for your one way first class ticket.

Ed Bull said...

was gravel not invited?

Ed Bull said...

does anyone think bill, joe or chris would want to work in billary whitehouse?

nice to see that even hillary wouldnt be sending dennis anywhere.

The scariest aspect is that the group to which these people are pandering don't even think to ask the question of what happens in Iraq the day after we leave.

That infantile thought process is scarier as possible.

Ed Bull said...

would all of johns support flow to obama, if today he announced he was dropping out of the race to become obama vp. could they together beat hillary on caucus night?

Ed Bull said...

name anything you have accomplished hillary. anything.

Ed Bull said...

wow, we actually just saw hillary lie. her voice changed, and she looked away.

Hillary has eyes like a shark.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Obama just did a great job of linking Hillary to all of the problems of the past 16 years.

That appeal to unity was great.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Edwards is now working on the 50% of the Democrat party that think W's black helicopters are circulating right over their homes.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Not to be out pandered by Edwards, Hillary plays the Florida card.

Hee hee, all of those brilliant lawyers couldn't steal the election for Al Gore.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone noticed how Hitlery looks when Obama or Edwards say anything critical.

Haven't these fuckers ever heard of Ron Brown?

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Richardson rushes to Evita's defense.

He's the VP. He's almost a minority. He'll do well in the VP debate. He's got experience.

Yes, he's the Veep for Evita.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Edwards certainly doesn't want to be mistaken with a man, that is for sure.

What kind of audience would be attracted to all of those sanctimonious mea culpas from Edwards. That continues to be the scariest part of the debate.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

On that note, time to watch more Democrat propaganda-BOSTON LEGAL.

"Teddy Sporer".

Ed Bull said...

Hillary won't choose Bill. I'd bet my right nut. It will be someone from Florida or Ohio.

Good Night.

Before we rush willy nilly into war with Iran to prevent it from building atomic bombs, consider it's already nuclear power. Just as effective would be loading its ballistic missile warheads with high level radioactive waste set for airbursts. Iran's long range missiles can already hit any NE target and parts of southern Europe. An airburst scattering high levels of radiation over a major city would destroy it just as effectively as a real atomic bomb would.

I think we ought to apply the same strategy with Iran we so successfully used with Soviets until it collapsed internally. Containment accompanied by relentless diplomacy, non-strategic trade and cultural exchanges got us through the Cold War unscathed.

I know first hand what the Cold War was all about. Was stationed in West Germany from 1959-1961 in a heavy artillery unit with tactical nuclear capabilities. More than once we went on full war readiness alert.

I think the Iranians would chill out with the restoration of full diplomatic relations and the end of non-strategic sanctions. In fact, I suspect the government already weakened by a severe defeat in last local elections might quickly crumble once losing its excuse for a bellicose foreign policy.

Re Ted's comment about Chamberlain it's useful to point out he went to war without parliamentary approval. Did doing that set an example for American presidents to follow after WWII?

Nowadays when it comes for war and foreign policy congress is little more than the president's doormat.

Campaigning Jimmy Carter/Bill Clinton style been surprised by number of very strong Clinton supporters among low and medium wage working women. Also surprised by the almost total absence of expressed support for any other major candidate from either party.

As the Iowa caucuses are a very different animal than a conventional primary ballot, she's likely to do much better in New Hampshire than in Iowa where only the most motivated turn out to caucus.

The #1 issue I hear about is health care. Noticed campaigning people must really be hurting financially because I see an unusally large number of young and middle aged people exhibiting very poor dental hygeine and with missing teeth.

I didn't appreciate the cost of prescription drugs until I fell into the Medicare Part D "doughnut hole" in which I pay the full cost until reaching $3600 out-of-pocket.
Pretty amazing to pay $40-50 for a generic costing pennies to manufacture and been on the market as such for 40+ years. Prior to getting on Medicare my private insurance paid 100% of drug costs with no deductibles.

Neither Iowa or New Hampshire fit the image I had prior to the campaign as being traditional heartland Americana. Both states are quite urbanized and culturally sophisticated.

While personally opposed to gay marriage, it's hardly the issue to base a national campaign on when high earning childless gay couples are major factors in sustaining property values!

The GOP needs a practical pro middle class policy message to remain a credible force in 21st century American politics. Relying on shopworn slogans and the neocon foreign policy approach is the el camino real road to defeat at the polls.

Since Klein likes to deal in Movie analogies so much, here's one from the Ed Harris character in Glengarry Glen Ross,

"What the fuck are you babbling about?"

Step off, Klein. Step off.

So, Klein....you playin' cards?
