Dowd on Clinton-worth the read.

No one knows you like your own family.

In the context of a liberal cat fight between long time socialist, feminist, archetypes, Maureen Dowd and Hillary Clinton we have a glimpse of how nasty they get with each other.

Dowd’s column today is almost Coulteresque in describing the latest entries on Evita’s enemies list - the vast left wing conspiracy. Democrats like Chris Matthews and Tim Russert, whose assignation the Clinton camp advocated, are part of the get Hillary crowd and must be liquidated while Madam Defarge hides her insidious agenda behind the veil of American womanhood.

Maureen, I say you go get ‘em sister.

Yea, I'd hit that....

Good Lord, Ken!

What's that all about?

Where can I get a "Klein for President" sticker? I say no way that cheap "shit heel" has actually sprung for stickers. No way!

I also want to congratulate whoever ressurected the use of shit heel as a derogatory in here. Damnation that's brilliant, brilliant!

Anonymous, I'll be same skinflint in the White House as I am in real life. In a Klein Administration America will never pay retail again nor buy what it doesn't need.

Who needs bumper stickers when for practically no money using volunteers I've got considerable name recognition in Iowa and already in the parts of New Hampshire which count?

Anonymous, Clinton would be your masturbation fantasy object were she to dress in dominatrix suggestive getups showing some cleavage. You'd vote for her at the same time claiming conservative credentials here. Your psychodyamics are typical of the hard core right wingers who get arrested in public bathrooms or for soliciting underage boys!

Hi Mark, Ken Hoyle, here. Just wondering when you were going to address Saccamano's assertion that you threw a phony threat claim out there just to draw attention to yourself. Said you were going to sic the Secret Service on us, too, as I recall. You can post in here all day but until you clear that one up I don't see a time as to when anyone is going to let up on you. Either admit you made a mistake or have the pair to admit you're a liar.

Dowd's article was hysterical and completely on point. I kept checking to be sure it really wasn't an Ann Coulter column. Boy, would these two make a fun talk show...

I've seen comments on this blog in the past about how Hillary takes two positions in the same sentence and no one notices.

Looks like they are finally noticing.

Ken--"Fucking, and ultimately ejaculating, has nothing to do with politics!"

Guys don't realize sex is politics which is why they usually wake up way way behind the 8 Ball. Among others Kate Millet and Erica Jong made fortunes writing about the political essense of sex.

Maybe sending the scorned wife and her child into the desert with a bottle of water is a bit harsh, but what's with mostly male legislators and judges cutting their nuts off installing community properity, virtual automatic custody to the wife, ruinous child support, and Soviet style jailing in spousal abuse allegation cases?

The politics of sex is so treacherous for men today Viagra type drugs do a land office business with young men unlikely to have phyiologic ED. Hard to get it up, keep it up and finally come making it with women doing mental sort as the act progresses how compare with their hords of previous lovers!

Do you know that Mikhail Kryzhanovsky,KGB superspy, is the US president de facto since 1996 ?

WASHINGTON (AP) - Worker productivity surged in the summer at the fastest pace in four years while wage pressures eased.

The Labor Department reported that productivity—the amount of output per hour of work—jumped at an annual rate of 4.9 percent in the July-September quarter.

That was double the 2.2 percent rise in the second quarter and represented the fastest surge in worker efficiency since 2003.

WE WIN IN 08 - because Bill Clinton said so. It's the Economy Stupid.

Ken's sexual longings, Anonymous' unconscious life and masturbation are fun to talk about but smarter more effective policy is what I'm about. Just posted this in the New York Times.

"Started nibbling on Citigroup, B of A, Wachovia and Regions shares. Since I can’t pick bottoms, like Mr. Lampert, just might have to ride out some more rough weather.

Originially bought Citigroup when the shares fell to $10 and the dividend was suspended the result of the Mexican loan default. My rationale at the time was if Citigroup wasn’t around also unlikely the America I knew and liked wouldn’t be either.

Think the market’s collapsing because of the real risk the administration’s utterly inept handling of the Pakistan power struggle might bring the militants to power. What’s going on now is straight out of the Jimmy Carter playbook when he thought he could bring democracy to Iran by dumping the shah.

Also brings to mind how we played musical chairs with South Vietnam’s government leadership. Like Benazier Bhutto, the new favorite was a skilled player of the DC’s boozy cocktail party circuit. Power game plans cooked up on elevated blood alcohol and sugar levels usually end up in disaster with a massive toll in blood and treasure.

If the militants come to power in Pakistan, there will be nuclear war in an attempt to establish a caliphate from Europe to the Bering Sea. Eisenhower didn’t like dictators but thought tolerating them was better than WWIII.

We couldn’t do much worse than installing Bhutto. Wouldn’t take long for the militants to seize Pakistan and its nuclear arsenal.

'We love America,' Sarkozy tells Congress.

Sarkozy, who is often called "Sarko the American" is one of the most pro-US French leaders in decades and clearly aims to show Bush and the Americans that France has turned a page on the past.

"The United States and France remain true to the memory of their common history," he told Congress.

"Our duty is to remain true to the blood spilled by our children on both sides of the Atlantic in common battles.

"France will never forget the sacrifice of your children," Sarkozy said, referring to the arrival of American troops on the beaches of Normandy to liberate the France from the Nazi occupation in World War II.

"At a time when my country had reached the final limits of its strengths, the time when France was exhausted, had spent its strength in the most absurd and bloodiest of wars," the French leader said, "France was able to count upon the courage of American soldiers and I have come to say to you on behalf of the French people that never, never will we forget that."

Sarkozy held out an extended olive branch to Washington, backing Washington's tough line on Iran's nuclear program and promising to keep French troops in Afghanistan for as long as needed.

"And let me tell you solemnly today, France will remain engaged in Afghanistan for as long as it takes, because what is at stake in that country is the very future of our values, and that of the Atlantic alliance."

Sarkozy and Bush agree on many of the top global issues including the Iran nuclear standoff, where Paris has given strong support for the US attempt to secure stronger sanctions.

The French leader reiterated on Wednesday his strong support of the US drive to deprive Iran of atomic weapons, saying to applause that "the prospect of a nuclear-armed is unacceptable to France."

He told the business council that during his presidential campaign, “I said I was a friend of America, and with that, they elected me — not bad."

MARK KLEIN, I believe you must have missed this one from Ken Hoyle:

15 days and counting, Klein continues to dodge questions regarding his phony threat claim.

Senator Obama tells FOX NEWS:

'I think there's no doubt that we represent the kind of change that Senator Clinton can't deliver on and part of it is generational. Senator Clinton and others, they've been fighting some of the same fights since the '60's and it makes it very difficult for them to bring the country together to get things done.'

Iowans who support former Vice President Al Gore have been forced to cancel a concert in his honor.

The $20 per ticket "Run, Al, Run" event, scheduled for Sunday in Des Moines, was called off because organizers feared they wouldn't sell enough tickets.

Anonymous: "Why bother voting? Mark Klein is too smart."

Probably better to say why bother voting for my opponents in the caucuses? Denizens of the yesterday's world none of them come to the table with policy ideas which will restore American posperity, family stability, and our financially and politically ruinous foreign policy.

We are such fools we break ourselves financially to provide global security at the same time the people we protect speculate against the dollar, steal our industrial base, and flood our market with dumped goods sold for less than the cost of production. That's how China buys internal stability at our expense.

The dollar fell to a new low of $1.47 vs the euro. The euro began trading at 84 cents in 1999! Now you know why most so broke despite a high income.

Also, before going totally ga-ga over Sarko, be nice to see France defend the dollar, and significantly increase its defense budget and deployments to take some of the load off us.

Our problem with the Europeans is they run state-of-the-art 1960s militaries dependent on that big hearted dope, Uncle Sam, to do the heavy global military lifting. Suggest attending the annual Paris Airshow at Le Bourget to see at first hand just how little their military industries contribute to the defense of the West.

France behaved like our clone as a world power when it assisted with American Revolution. The cost of France's aid motivated by its rivalry with Britain was a major contributor to the fall of Louis 16th.

Were I an influential leader of the Islamic enemy I'd forment brushfire wars everywhere to bled America dry financially and politically. Then it's only a matter of time for an American "Chernobyl" to happen leading to the disintegration of national political cohesion as was the case with the Soviets.
