The Real Hero Spotlight…………..

…………. is on Vice President Dick Cheney. Vice President Cheney finally began the campaign that we should have been waging since Joseph Wilson made treason cool again-focusing on the Democrat’s end game.

No one seriously believes that the Democrat opposition to the war is principled, at least most Democrat opposition. Democrat willingness to switch positions on Iraq, and the WOT in general, to maintain attacks on the war effort shine an effervescent beacon on the pretty shallow political purpose of losing the war to destroy George W. Bush and defeat Republicans.

Finally, after listening to years of blithering liberal propaganda, much of it mere mimicry of the Jihadists own propaganda we struck back. The Democrats want peace at any price in Iraq. Their entire focus is on a strategy for American withdrawal not victory. That focus is precisely the same as the Islamofascist strategy for the United States in Iraq.

Last Wednesday the Vice President stated the obvious, the Pelosi/Murtha/ Kennedy/Kerry strategy of breaking the American will to win in Iraq through a “slow bleed” strategy brings with it responsibility for the consequences of peace at that price.

Pelosi and the liberals don’t respond to the argument, of course they cannot because all facts, history and logic are agin’em, but attack the arguer. The Vice President must have landed a pretty hard blow because the Dems went right to the nuclear weapon of civil cloture, an accusation that their patriotism was challenged by the Vice President’s remarks. Since 2003 we have called of the dogs when Democrats have raised that bogeyman. It’s that whole being afraid to seem “mean” in the liberal press thing.

Well, it’s a strange kind of patriotism that is willing to advocate withdrawal from Iraq without victory, and to undermine the war effort through incessant and usually deceptive criticism, when the results of such a conduct would be so obviously disastrous to American security. Since we aren’t clairvoyant we need to assume that Pelosi and Murtha do, in fact, have a subjective love of country, but that doesn’t excuse the consequences of their words. It’s no different than the child abuser saying that they love the child they are beating.

This time, Cheney isn’t backing down. He is making the Democrats, at least in some small part, accountable for the consequences of their destructive partisanship. For that reason, you’re the Hero this week Mr. Vice President.

Cheney should have led by example instead of taking 5 draft deferment. Wonderful to see such Brave GOPers hide in bunkers scared of their own shadows. Then we have The Real Sphincter fighting for America with the last drop of my son's blood. Ted goes homes and beats his wife and dogs because he can't beat the dems. He can only smear. See you in hell Ted.
