A full Cort poll update

The landscape is changing yet again. International security expert Hugh Cort is bringing his Presidential campaign to Iowa. Dr. Cort will appear at R.P.I.’s Lincoln Dinner this upcoming April 14.

Dr. Cort is certainly
an interesting candidate. His counter-terrorism credentials are most impressive. Few would argue that the global terror threat is the most challenging and immediate issue before us.

Like that of John Cox, the Cort candidacy is not yet well known but I’m adding him to the Real Sporer poll because I think he, like John Cox, merits a closer look. To state the obvious, the War on Terror and the Culture War here at home present enormous issues to the body politic. The decisions before us can only be improved by information and discourse and this Cort candidacy positively contributes to that discourse.

Besides, no one had ever heard of Wendell Wilke in 1939.

Both of these candidates have zero money, zero elective political experience and zero chance of being elected to anything, much less president of the United States. But include them for fairness' sake, anyway.

There are numerous other choices out there if people don't like the top tier: Huckabee, Tancredo, Brownback, Hunter, etc. Most people won't even get beyond this second tier, and for good reason.
