Have you ever wondered what the liberals mean by the word “progressive”? The goal towards which the liberals seek to “progress” has become increasingly unveiled with the rise of the most anti-American Pelosi/Reid/Dean Democrat Party.
I say it often. It is pretty clear that Democrats have largely rejected the basic principles of American constitutional democracy. Now, just as the liberals are attempting to assume legal control over political speech my reinstating the “Fairness Doctrine” they are also rejecting the President’s Article II powers to appoint lower court federal judges and justices of the Supreme Court.
Politicize the schools and the Courts, control the media through regulatory pressure and the intimidation of advertiser attacks and lawsuits and what do you get?
You get the total nanny state. A human services official assumes control at birth, because the government, of course, knows how to better care for children. Another government official decides when the socialized medical system can no longer afford one’s geriatric health needs and time has come to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. When one can no longer contribute to society’s needs and has become a burden on the younger population who can better serve the public need, it’s time has come to discontinue that expensive dialysis.
So when you the word “progressive” remember, the progress they have in mind is toward a toward a wealthier version of North Korea with better looking people running the show. If conservatives don’t get a whole lot more organized and one hell of a lot tougher, the demagogues of the left will achieve their objective a mere generation off the Orwellian schedule. The savage score looks more like 2024.

I think a Vick vs Pit Bull show down is the only way he will ever get back into the sports spotlight and good riddance. I think the Falcons are relieved to get out of his almost 140 mil contract. He was a no talent QB, good runner but worst pass comp % in the league. Personally I can't imagine any way to punish him bad enough besides letting a few pissed off pits rip his flesh off.
