Straw Poll-Continuing Impact

Two stories about the Straw Poll’s continuing impact are beginning to float through the Ethernet tonight.

The first is pretty obvious; Mike Huckabee’s second place finish has produced a lot of media this week. The combination of good news and increased exposure has supposedly significantly boosted the Razorback’s fundraising. Since Huckabee got more votes than the quantity of tickets he purchased you’d have to say the event gave him a pretty big bang for the buck.

The second is somewhat murkier. Rumor has it that a second GOP participant at the Ames Straw Poll is set to drop out in the next few days. We’ll be chasing this rumor down hard, if it’s groundless we’ll say so, if not the fallout zone will broaden beyond Wisconsin.

With Fred D. Thompson making his Iowa debut tomorrow it looks like the Real Sporer has his work cut out.

Yes with Thompson coming you do have your work cut out for you as do all Gopers. They have to try to make a lobbyist/actor look like a populist!
keep arranging those deck chairs!

On Tuesday I asked Guliani's volunteers at the GOP stand why they weren't serving in the armed forces, They just cast their eyes down.

The GOP= enemy of the people and the opiate of the sheeple!

Wow, directly attacking a vollunteer for their motives ... What an inovative new way to get the shit kicked out of yourself in public by a total stranger ... Its douch-bags like you that make politics a disdainfull activity these days.

Has anyone asked Freddie why he has Spencer Abraham, who secured millions in American tax dollars for Hamas and Hezbollah, as an adiviser on the campaign?

Mr. Sporer, care to comment on the "exit poll" that supposedly showed that Ron Paul won the Ames straw poll? The Paul forces are saying their man was robbed.

Story is over at noneed4thneed's place (commoniowan.blogspot.com).

Ummmm sure.

Ron Paul also thinks 9-11 is our fault too.

NEXT!

Why even hold the real poll then, we'll just conduct an EXIT poll!

Not to mention that the "exit poll" wasnt checking Iowa drivers licenses. Pauls people were only "robbed" in the sense that their candidate sucks so badly that no one in Iowa supports him.

I heard Ron Paul is getting out of the race. True or false?
