Sunday Talk Review This Week (ABC)-Softballs and socialism with Evita.

Former Clinton Administration political functionary George Stephanopoulos provided Sen. Hillary "Evita" Clinton with an obsequious environment that allowed Hillary to theatre in which to spin her many previous failures and current contradictions with the usual spin and distortion that is always a part of Clinton speak.

Hillary opened her performance by describing the millions of Americans who lack any access to “health care”. By conflating lack of health insurance with a lack of health care she does the Democrat thing and fabricates a crisis of want. While no one in America lacks access to health care and while we do need improvements in health care financing does any person seriously think the government could do something more efficiently than private industry?

Evita described a very creeping form of socialism as the lessons learned from a mass takeover of healthcare. Very tellingly, Evita refused to answer the question of enforcement. We know one method of enforcemen is already part of Evita’s thinking, to wit: a prohibition from holding employment if one lacks that government card.

Hillary echoes the silly Democrat position that we will withdraw many forces from Iraq but will leave others Back to doing leading with values. How did that work in the 90’s? She was never asked to explain how that would look on the battlefield.

I guess if you one ignores not one, not two, not three but four major terror attacks against the United, as did the previous Clinton Administration, you can pretend that all is well. The global Jihad and their Islamofacsist terror enemies all grew stronger and ever bolder during the Clinton years doesn’t mean that they will attack us, again. Never, ever forget that our Al Qaeda enemy cites Bill Clinton’s foreign policy as the incentive to attack the United States itself. I wonder why Hillary never gets asked about those bin Laden and Zawahiri quotes?

Evita spins into another dissertation on her creeping socialism with more government regulation of elections. Another big step on the road toward socialist totalitarianism is public financing of elections. Why allow outsiders political speech when the government can fund and regulate the content of electoral debate? Hillary’s attempts to explain her vote for war in Iraq with her current posture of defeat. Hillary rides the fence like HHH in 68; she refuses to get out of Iraq but refuses to commit to victory.

When asked about Norman Hsu and Criminal Chinese Cash-The Redux`, she just passed by. Not surprisingly there was no following question about how he “slipped’ through the “cracks” or about how many Norman Hsus remain out bundling cash for her. It would be nice to hear that distinction.

The interview is bland but don’t kid yourself, she is pure evil, with more similarities to Lady Mao than Lady Thatcher. Where Bill Clinton had no real agenda; this woman does and it is pure total state socialism, by whatever means necessary to create a one party government. Government control of healthcare, employment and elections, not much lesft is there?
