W’s great opportunity.

It looks like Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was embarrassed at Columbia last week. Pres. Ahmadinejad has now extended an offer for Pres. Bush to speak at a university in Iran.

Assuming that security could be provided, and the Iranian total state should be able to provide security (although a willingness to do so is much more questionable), and the Iranians agreed to a live and unedited telecast on their domestic television and radio, Pres. Bush should pounce on this opportunity to discuss the whole point of the War on Terror (other than physical survival, of course).

Regardless of the silliness and demagogic eruption that would undoubtedly occur, Fox, Skynews and enough real news networks would be on hand to show the real scene and accurately quote our President’s words that his point would reach a global audience.

Does the White House have enough fight left to recognize a “tear down this wall” moment? History rarely provides an opportunity to confront the very face of evil in its lair.

Oh I can just see Bush accepting the invitation speak in Iran. Just like his unannounced visits to show how safe Iraq has become Hell in America he only speaks at hand picked settings. I see Fred T is doing the same thing. Typical GOP cowards.

so how do you explain hillary not speaking to anyone at all? She is the most tightly controlled candidate ever in history. What will Shillary do? Send Billary out on their behalf? She's afraid to talk unscripted. Her handlers have to tell her everything to say. If she gets stuck...she cackles.
