Ann Coulter irrefutably makes Newt’s day-drill now!

Don’t need to say anything more, but briefly we must:
Coulter’s
analysis of the energy situation is more accurate and deadly to the liberal propaganda machine than MOAB.
Read it; learn it; and repeat it. More importantly, much more importantly –

DRILL NOW
VOTE REPUBLICAN

So how do you folks feel about Newt in the climate change ads they've been running lately? Has Newt made any comments on the drilling issue? - I'm really just curious, considering his apparent reversal on climate change.

As I said in a previous thread, it's not like the oil companies don't have any new places to drill. Why do they need ANWR or our coastal areas when they are not utilizing the vast areas they already have at their disposal? Or maybe the whole issue is just a political tool for R's?

Don't know if Ann Coulter is a man but she certainly has balls and like all of us men she uses them to think with.

There are 66 bbo (billion barrels of all) estimated to be in the OCS that is open to leasing. Now all of that leasing area can't be off the tip of southern Africa. The NPR-A has 4.6 million acres available for oil leasing. This is an area of Alaska that is in the general vicinity of ANWR and estimates are that there is plenty of oil there, yet only, I think it was 3%, of that land has been explored or drilled or even leased.

Unless the objective should just be to open up the world and let big oil cherry-pick where they want to explore and drill they've got plenty of opportunities in current leases or leasable areas right now. Just recently there was a re-evaluation of the Bakken area of North Dakota/Montana estimating 3.3 bbo adjacent to areas already being drilled.

Do you guys ever consider that the oil companies do not have an infinite supply of exploration and drilling equipment? Especially for offshore exploration/drilling.

The other issue you guys fail to grasp is the dichotomy at play here. Let's assume that the oil companies could begin increasing oil supplies tomorrow and therefore drive down prices immediately saving consumers and our economy. What then happens to their profits? They go down, in a hurry.

Big oil is perfectly happy to maintain a balance between world demand and supply. They do not desire an abundance of supply driving prices lower. Leaving supply/demand equal keeps the price of oil high and renders it subject to rising every time Ahmadinejad sneezes.

One would have thought you were bright enough to realize that Ann Coulter is a blithering idiot.

I'd like to make sweet love to Ann. She needs a little tenderness in her life. Then after that, I'd fuck her good.

I think you fail to appreciate the lady(?). It is more likely she would be the one "doing" her partner "good".

Newt the Wonder Twerp got off the couch with Pelosi long enough to do something? Newt and McCain's radical environmentalist friends will probably convince them that drilling might annoy a chipmunk and Johnny Mac would then scrap the whole idea.

Our raison d'ĂȘtre here at TRS

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” John Stuart Mill

We at The Real Sporer believe that the crises of our generation is the preservation of a United States of America based on fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Oddly enough, our generation, that grew in the quiet and secure 50s, 60s and 70s and thought we could escape history now find ourselves at the cross roads of history. At a time when the prevailing media, academic and even now industrial elites find the easy road of paternalistic socialist totalitarianism more expedient to travel we are convinced that only preserving the more traditional America will better provide the well known blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to us and our posterity.

In the real world, the Republican freedom agenda is the only alternative to the thought police and rations commissar of the socialist nanny state. But the agenda that we share with the founding generation, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, will never again prevail if we don't fight our generation's battle to renew America's commitment to freedom with our socialist adversaries.

Our mission statement is therefore clear: provide the information and argument that leads to a Republican Renaissance and Republican governance.
