This is what we mean by “Country First”.

Hillary Clinton has once again reminded the American public of the difference between patriotism and partisanship.

Several Jewish groups have organized a rally to protest the appearance of the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the theocratic Islamofascist President of Iran. Ahmadinejad’s regime is the world’s worst terror state, having armed, sheltered and funded international terrorists since 1979. The current Iranian President has armed Hezbollah in its armed insurrection in Lebanon and subsequent attacks on Israel; armed Hamas in its bloodthirsty military takeover of the West Bank and its attacks on Israel; and armed and sheltered terrorists who have killed hundreds and maimed thousands of Americans in Iraq and killed thousands, possibly tens of thousands of Iraqis.

Ahmadinejad has himself mused about the day the Israel will be wiped off the face of the Earth and that the Great Satan (the United States) is destroyed for our secular evil. All of this from a regime that is openly pursuing the nuclear weapons with which to accomplish its larger objectives of genocide and nuclear war.

As a state governed by Sharia law inferiority of women remains entrenched in Iranian law. One would think that any American leader, much less a woman who harbors Presidential ambitions, would join the sponsors of the Ahmadinejad protest. Not surprisingly both Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton agreed to participate in the rally/protest.

However, most surprisingly, upon learning that Sarah had agreed to participate, Hillary withdrew her appearance because the event was going to be of a “
partisan, political” nature.

It would be flattering to call Hillary’s refusal to appear with Sarah “shallow” because a child could recognize the disingenuity of her pretext: the appearance of both woman would obviously make the event non or at least bi partisan. Hillary placed her and Barack Obama’s need to delegitimize Sarah as a candidate before the patriotic display of national unity in opposition to the monsters in Teheran.

If that isn’t the placement of partisanship over patriotism, libs, you tell us what it is.

The libs can hack Palin's personal emails and that is just hunky dory but if the government looks at terrorists emails it becomes wrong and unconstitutional.

Liberals hate America.

It is alarming that violations of Republican's right to privacy do not concern libs but they feel moral indignation if we listen to terrorists talking in foreign lands.

The reason for her refusal to appear at the same event with Sarah is clearly to try to deny her credibility. What Hillary doesn’t understand is that her action undermines her own credibility. Not really a smart move for someone who wants to run for president again in a few years, especially if Iran starts a war or explodes a nuke between now and then. Bipartisanship on foreign policy only happens if a Democrat is in the White House. Jim Wright and Tom Foley supported communist dictators against Reagan, Carter supports ANYONE against Bush and now Hillary refuses to stand against Iran. So what else is new?

What is this bullshit, Sporer? Last I heard these Jews recinded Palin's invitation. Maybe Ken can use his direct dial line to Mark Klein and find out the real story.

It's election year. Sporer (Like most Republicans) care little for the truth.
They just kinda make shit up.

I never thought the GOP would become the party of corporate bailouts......almost got that out before laughing. Those asshats care more about Fannie and AIG than they do about some poor working class stiff who is about to lose their home.

Andrew Sullivan tells you what it is: said...

"1. I cannot say anything about this [Palin] candidacy that takes it in any way seriously. It is a farce. It is absurd. It is an insult to all intelligent people. It is a sign of a candidate who has lost his mind. There is no way to take the nomination of Palin to be vice-president of the world’s sole superpower - except to treat it as a massive, unforgivable, inexplicable decision by someone who has either gone insane or is managerially unfit to be president of the United States."

I have to disagree with you Sporer.
The Fascist element in power in Iran is getting pushed out, more and more everyday. I believe that in a few years the opposition, who is pro-American will take over (and maybe with a little help from us will keep in power).

I am concerned about North Korea. I believe that they are the one cog in the axis of evil that still has the capability of causing mass casualities on an appalling scale.

I think that our follies in the middle east have really taken our eye off the ball and has allowed Russia, China and North Korea to get stronger while we no longer have the military might to stop them.

Georgia was just a test. A little bump in the road to see how we would react.

I believe there should be more of a bi-partisan effort to quell aggression in the East, and a little less welfare in the Middle East, but that is just my opinon.

Take it easy Ted

Any Democrat stupid enough to complain about Sarah Palin’s candidacy is simply highlighting the idiocy of nominating Obama. The guy brags about having been a Chicago community organizer (read Daley machine ward heeler). He highlights his experience in the Illinois Senate where he averaged more than twenty “Present” votes each year rather than make a decision. Who has written two books about himself but has yet to actually accomplish anything. He has had to deny any association with practically everyone in his life. And now he has decided that making up demonstrable lies about McCain and Rush Limbaugh is the only way to win.

On the other hand, I can understand why they’re terrified of Sarah Palin. She’s smart, quick on her feet, willing to take on anyone who is screwing the public and able to highlight all of Obama’s shortcomings. She may just be the next Ronald Reagan and a major force in shifting the culture away from the San Francisco culture so desired by the left.

is it possible for the progressive liberal extremist democrat party to get any more crazy and extreme? yes! said...

Dennett, 61, the Progressive Party's candidate for Vermont Attorney General, said Thursday she will prosecute President Bush for murder if she's elected Nov. 4.

Dennett, an attorney and investigative journalist, says Bush must be held accountable for the deaths of thousands of people in Iraq — U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians. She believes the Vermont attorney general would have jurisdiction to do so.

She also said she would appoint a special prosecutor and already knows who that should be: former Los Angeles prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi, the author of "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder," a new book.

uhm - michelle, we know you meant Sarah because you ain't cute said...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Michelle Obama asked voters Thursday to make their choice on the issues, not because, "I like that guy" or, "she's cute."

Might she be talking about Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin?

"I'm talking about me," she said with a smile.

Barack Obama's wife, however, is not on the ticket in the presidential election. Palin is.

democrats say that democrats who don't vote for obama are democrat racists. said...

Monday afternoon, state Representatives Bob Hagan of Youngstown and Tom Letson of Warren met with reporters.

They argue many voters who call themselves "Democrats" or "Independents", but won't vote for Obama, have only one excuse, with Letson saying, "I would say that a lot of it is they're not going to vote for 'the black guy'".

Hagan called the issue "unpatriotic," adding those not willing to vote for Obama need "to face that fact. That that's not acceptable in America."

the segregationists in the 50's were democrats. if obama wins, should whoopie goldberg be concerned that she will become a slave again? she asked mccain that. said...

Rush Limbaugh: Mr. Obama's campaign is now trafficking in prejudice of its own making. And in doing so, it is playing with political dynamite.

What kind of potential president would let his campaign knowingly extract two incomplete, out-of-context lines from two radio parodies and build a framework of hate around them in order to exploit racial tensions?

The segregationists of the 1950s and 1960s were famous for such vile fear-mongering.

Here's the relevant part of the Spanish-language television commercial Mr. Obama is running in Hispanic communities:

"They want us to forget the insults we've put up with . . . the intolerance . . . they made us feel marginalized in this country we love so much."

Then the commercial flashes two quotes from me: ". . . stupid and unskilled Mexicans" and "You shut your mouth or you get out!"

Once again, we see that the only racism and sexism that occurs in this country is by democrats against democrats and against republicans.

boo hoo is trying to convince mexicans that they are victims. the usual strategy of defeat, division and destruction said...

"Much of the media that is uninterested in Mr. Obama's connections to unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright have so far gone along with the attempt to tie me to Mr. McCain.

But Mr. McCain and I have not agreed on how to address illegal immigration. While I am heartened by his willingness to start by securing the borders, it is no secret that we have fundamental differences on illegal immigration."

Rush Limbaugh continued.

oby is running the most deceitful, and negative campaign in modern history. why is he lying to mexicans. does he assume they have no brains? it's boo hoo that is marginalizing mexicans said...

And more to the point, these sound bites are a deception, and Mr. Obama knows it.

The first sound bite was extracted from a 1993 humorous monologue poking fun at the arguments against the North American Free Trade Agreement. Here's the context:

"If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine 'cause those are the kinds of jobs Nafta is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do -- let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work."

My point, which is obvious, was that the people who were criticizing Nafta were demeaning workers, particularly low-skilled workers. I was criticizing the mind-set of the protectionists who opposed the treaty. There was no racial connotation to it and no one thought there was at the time. I was demeaning the arguments of the opponents.

Wow!

Even if John McCain is elected. He will need to make great compromises as he will face a 56-44 Senate and a 235-200 House Swing.
So all this Democrats did this Democrats did that is really just election hog wash.

Our next President will need to work with all elements of both parties. I know you dont hear about it on this site, Sporer is a little too loyal, but there are hard working elected officials that just so happen to be Democrats.

Why, Sporer's own congressman Lenny Boswell is more conservative than the Republican he is running against and had less earmarks than Iowa Republican Tom Latham!

A hard head makes a soft ass. We can't give ANYONE a free pass because of their party and we can't ordain anyone because of what they say during the election cycle.

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Already under fire for his tax troubles, Manhattan Congressman Charles Rangel really put his foot in his mouth on Friday.

In a CBS 2 HD exclusive interview Rep. Rangel called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin "disabled."

The question was simple. Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity.

The answer was astonishing.

"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said.

That's right. The charman of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee called Palin disabled -- even when CBS 2 HD called him on it.

CBS 2 HD: "You got to be kind to the disabled?

Rangel: "Yes."

CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"

Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.

wow. charlie, have you no decency congressman, at long last have you no decency? a democrat said to Joe mccarthy. she has a disabled kid. is that who he's dissing the vile tax cheat said...

Do your homework and vote for who you think will be the best for this Country. Vote for what's right, not because he's a Nigger, because he's a Catholic, because he's a Veteran, because she's a hot looking cunt. Good God people, get your heads out of your collective asses!
