Right off the bat....BHO attacks GWB.

Is Dubya on the ballot?

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

All right! Its about time that we began indicting the Democrats for the Freddie and Fannie mess.

Did BHO vote "present" when Mac's oversight proposal was before the Senate or was he just absent altogether?

Anonymous said...

So why are you righting to everyone rather than proposing legislation to correct the problems?

Anonymous said...

So far Obama is doing a better job talking to the people than McCain is. McCain's attack on Obama for his links to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was good content, bad delivery. He's not comfortable on the attack because he's always been the bipartisan pious Republican.

Okay, the letter is a nice touch, but Obama so far looks more presidential and comfortable than John McCain does. And all Obama has to do tonight is look like a feasible president to the undecideds.

Anonymous said...

This is Obama's first slip of the night. He looked like he was lecturing the questioner.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Focusing on Obama's tax and spend proposals is crucial to McCain's success. He needs to tie Obama to Carter economics.

Anonymous said...

Now McCain should hammer Obama on energy since his party has opposed many of the energy alternatives the American people want.

But he doesn't. Good night.

John, "liberal big spender" doesn't work anymore because Republicans sadly have gone along with it by and large. And McCain just voted for the biggest pork-barrel package in American history last week.

McCain did not hammer Obama enough on energy here. He had an issue to attack Obama on and didn't, so his attack looked personal when it didn't have to be.

Anonymous said...

Would 1/2 mil of AIG exec retreat be considered pork?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, John, we know you can reach across the aisle to Russ Feingold and Ted Kennedy.

That's the problem.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, John, we know you can reach across the aisle to Russ Feingold and Ted Kennedy.

That's the problem.

Anonymous said...

Obama making a reference on Kennedy and the space race to the situation now and energy is brilliant, and I tried to get several Republicans I talked to in the Caucuses to do it, but they didn't listen.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

As an aside, I agree wth EK re the rat bastards at AIG.

Those guys, and the rest of the corporate pirates, need to be put in economic thumbsrews through shareholder lawsuits.

And then, when t hey've lost all their money..........real thumbscrews!

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Same here SD. What analogy could be more apporpos`.

Anonymous said...

Great answer here by McCain talking about defense spending pork first. Great move. This is his best answer thus far.

Anonymous said...

Is it just me, or has Obama died patches of his hair gray?

Anonymous said...

How 'bout the government artificially setting the Medicare / Medicaid pricing so we all get the cost shift and increase in premiums?

Anonymous said...

Maybe if the gov't lowered the tax on business, then they would have money to invest in more energy efficency

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Gettin thin on the back also.

I like seeing that malady in others.

Anonymous said...

This is one of the rare areas there's a distinct worldview difference between Obama and McCain. McCain is on the aging end of the baby-boom generation, so he still buys into some of our previous generations' jingoistic notions of America's nobility.

Obama comes from a generation that does not. So McCain looks at telling the American people we can do anything as Americans as patriotic, but Obama doesn't share those romantic notions of Americana.

That favors McCain because he gets to out-hope Mr. Hope and Change.

Obama sounds better when he's populist and making the haves sacrifice, but when he lets his leftist worldview shine through he sounds as if he's anti-American.

Anonymous said...

That's $18 billion that tax payer shouldn't pay... and sharing the burden that 80% of the revenue comes from the top 20% of the population means what?.. making it 90%?

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Which, of course, he is.

Anonymous said...

McCain sounds shrill in his attacks, sort of like Dole going after Clinton's morals back in the 1996 townhall debate.

He needs to be the happy warrior. People are scared enough, so trying to scare them more in attacking your opponent isn't a good strategy. The more fear in the air, no matter who its targeted at, favors the candidate of hope and change.

Anonymous said...

The Straight Talk Express lost a wheel on that one is a good line. Obama is showing he's no Dukakis. He hits back.

His duty tonight is to let people see him as a potential president. The content of his answers almost doesn't matter. For Obama it's about presence, not prose.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

I think McCain should be defeating the messenger of hope nonsense by repeating that BHO simply runs against reality.

Like 95% of Americans get a tax cut. 40% of families don't pay any taxes.

Interestingly, BHO defines not increasing taxes as a tax cut.

Anonymous said...

But John, if you know what the problems are and what the solutions are, why haven't you and your party done it when you had the majority?

That's what I'm guessing a lot of voters who aren't particularly partisan ideologically are thinking right now.

And now McCain is running for president so he can appoint a commission to make the tough decisions? Huh?

Anonymous said...

McCain is getting spunky

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Finally Mac starts to hammer the difference between rhetoric and reality.

Anonymous said...

Time to hit the mute button...otherwise I'll throw up in my mouth listening to Obama and McCain both bowing down at the altar of pagan Gaia worship.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

The commission might be the only hope for social security 'cause if Congress gets to negotiate anything well, it dies.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Obama is revising history. Al Gore invented the internet, and saved us from Manbearpig.

Anonymous said...

Obama is hitting back and hard. He's not soft. He may be the anti-Christ as McCain tried to say in his ad, but he's not soft.

Anonymous said...

I would like someone to explain how we can get some real global warming in Iowa.

5 million new jobs? Where did Obama pull that number out of the air?

When did Obama become the employer expert.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Al Gore told him.

Anonymous said...

But John, you just voted for the biggest pork barrel bill in American history last week. You no longer have credibility with the American people, and probably would've won the election had you voted against it.

Anonymous said...

Who is John Galt

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

I always rather fancied myself in that role.

Maybe its BHO-he thinks of himsef as a divinity.

Anonymous said...

Like most liberals, theologically and politically, Obama has all the right complaints but all the wrong solutions.

Many of his observations about what's wrong with system (like not enough emphasis on prevention) are spot on. But the idea that government direct intervention will make it better defies all reality.

Just ask Willard and the people of Massachusetts.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

This answer on health financing is good for Mac-he's sounding good on the issue. Espeially drawing the bright line distinction between creeping socialism and productive use of the market.

Anonymous said...

Interesting...I thought McCain's healthcare answer was pretty good so far, but the men in the focus group on CNN don't seem to like it at all.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Very good line, I'm stealing that one from you SD.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

With attribution, of course.

Anonymous said...

Unless Obama says something monumentally stupid, this election is over. McCain sounds like Gore on "climate change" and does not understand basic economics.

Republicans seriously nominated this guy?

The only good thing is that Palin is in a good position for 2012.

Anonymous said...

O talked earlier about entitlements, and now he's talking lowering health costs... such as increasing the people eligible for SCHIP.

JM - don't take away the tax deduction from employer as they pay the majority of the 12K O likes to throw around.

Anonymous said...

Once the country is completly broke and the lights are out, people will begin leave the government--that is completly broke--and turn to individual payments, and personal doctors and health care.

Anonymous said...

McCain floundered on the health care question. That was an opportunity to lay out a fundamental difference between Rats and Republicans. He blew it.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Vald, doesn't BHO's lifetime of involvement with the most extreme of anti-American leftist ideology and actors, including the totalitarian objectives and utterly repressive expansion of government power scare the hell out of you?

Anonymous said...

Nice comeback from Obama on healthcare. Of course, the idea that it is a right is totally unconstitutional, but his answer is what the American people want.

And now Obama is just drilling McCain on the power of emotion alone, even mixing in an S-Chip reference.

Hopefully conservatives take notice. This is what happens when go an entire generation since Reagan not explaining and evangelizing your principles to the next generation.

They end up buying the emotion-based argument.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Required cancer screens!

Vlad-what kind of government does that sound like to you?

Paternalistic socialist totalitarianism is what it sounds like to me.

Anonymous said...

The Feds made law that Hospitals that are 'non-profit' pay no property tax in exchange for providing free care. How come the sick person doesn't get free care?

O - you are wrong. The states will still have the ability to mandate coverage and you will see states losing insurers to other states that make it to much gov't oversight... he is correct about the state to state, though, because IA has some of the lowest cost in the country and if we have CA population and NY population buying our products, but we pay for docs and hospitals on the coasts, then our cost goes up! Bad for Iowa.

hawkguy said...

Say how is it going so far I was watching Glen Beck

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

"Hopefully conservatives take notice. This is what happens when go an entire generation since Reagan not explaining and evangelizing your principles to the next generation."

The third premise of leadership:
PERSUADING OTHERS TO AGREE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a party we have utterly failed to explain to the voter why they should agree with us.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't McCain "reaching across the aisle" and working with those who have an anti-American ideology scare the hell out of you?

McCain is about as conservative as a vegan florist at a yoga convention. They BOTH supported the bailout, they BOTH are opposed to free political speech, there is no evidence that either one of them has even read the Constitution or a basic understanding of economics.

Anonymous said...

If this is the greatest nation on earth, why does Obama want to change it?

Anonymous said...

McCain's foreign policy answer is easily the highest score he's gotten from the undecideds on CNN thus far.

This is his best answer thus far, and it should be.

But then Obama comes back strong again and refuses to leave the attack unanswered. He's having a fairly strong night thus far, even though all McCain had to do was stay alive and not have a chest-grabber for National Review and Townhall to say tonight he won the debate.

Obama's answer attacking McCain is getting even higher marks from the undecideds on CNN. He's going Art of War, attack your opponent where he thinks he's strongest.

hawkguy said...

Holy Cow who let Broke Jaw in there too bad Glen Beck is only an hour!! :)

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Vlad, so you would prefer the complete antithesis to everything in which you believe to occupy a position from which to destroy the culture you hope to preserve to compromising your beliefs to slow the process of erosion until another Abe, Teddy or Ron comes along to get us back on cultural offense?

Anonymous said...

So the liberals do not want to stick our noses in Iraq (which they call a civil war) but they are willing to use troops to intervene in ACTUAL civil wars?

WTF is up with that? Darfur? Come on! I guess the Iraqi's skin tone isn't dark enough.

Anonymous said...

PLEASE tell me Obama isn't talking about "moral" issues--the man who supports killing a child even if the child survives an abortion. This guy has no moral compus.

hawkguy said...

Way to go McCain give it to Senator Obummer!!!

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Mac's answer if pretty good on the foreign policy distinction.

Mac needs to always use the expression that Obama's foreign policy is appeasement from the word go.

Anonymous said...

McCain is right to attack Obama on setting a date for withdrawal in Iraq, but again it doesn't matter because that's what the American people want.

And they want that because this is yet another issue that conservatives have failed to explain and evangelize on. And sending Dick Cheney out from whatever rock he's under every six months to lecture us on Fox News isn't what I'm talking about.

Obama's policy in Iraq is Nevillesque, but it's what the people want. They see a war that has no purpose and isn't going anywhere, and they're right about that. But just not for the reasons they think.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

A very good point, Vlad Dracul.

Anonymous said...

No Ted. Abe, Teddy and Ron only come along every once in a while. I think Republicans should stop looking for the next Reagan because it will be a while before they appear.

McCain would not slow the process. Palin might, but McCain would not. He is too accomodating.

With that, I'm bored. I'm off to the gym.

Anonymous said...

Finally McCain is coming back. Obama started off good, feeding his line of bull and promises he could never keep. Steve you are right on with your comments. I couldn't agree more. Nothing like being a Monday morning QB Obama.

Anonymous said...

Obama keeps using the word "judgment" which is smart. He is doing an effective job of attacking his opponent where he believes he's strongest.

And he got the first hour of the debate to be almost exclusively about the economy. Not to mention the fact the name Ayers hasn't been mentioned yet. Plus, he is speaking more relaxed to the people and relating better than McCain, who my wife says sounds too much like Bob Dole.

Obama is winning the presidency tonight -- so far.

hawkguy said...

boy what a risk Obama took there does he realize what getting rid of the Taliban will do to his poll numbers in the Arab World? :)

Anonymous said...

Obama can't win the military debate. McCain owns that subject.

Anonymous said...

I agree, Obama is winning. Only because people are so uninformed in this arena and Obama is saying exactly what they want to hear. I'm bummed!

hawkguy said...

Way to go Mccain Teddy would love it?

Anonymous said...

Obama is confidently deflecting most of McCain's attacks and is doing so without sounding too defensive.

It's almost like Reagan saying to Carter, "there you go again."

hawkguy said...

why do they put chairs at these town halls the candidates never use them?

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Wow, imagine that.

Officers who couldn't obtain victory defending their failure by alleging the impossibility of their mission.

Every failed general in history made the same argument.

Anonymous said...

This debate makes one thing clear the Republican Party just refuses to learn: you can't win a tastes great, less filling debate with the Democrats.

You must offer a clear contrast. Someone that embodies the platform in their record and can defend it with their rhetoric.

Otherwise you don't offer up enough of a stark contrast between you and the opposition. And at that point the vast majority of the American people will accept the most effective emotional argument, which usually isn't good for the Republicans.

McCain is trying hard, but he's the road team here and Obama is setting the tempo and has the home crowd. McCain is too old during a generational transition and doesn't have a consistently conservative worldview that forces Obama to explain his in a way that doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

Anonymous said...

Our enemy's must be watching this to determin their military stratagey while our candidates tell them what they plan to do.

McCain is killing Obama right now.

hawkguy said...

Is anyone out there unhappy with anyone in congress who voted for the bailout?

Anonymous said...

Here is where Obama is weak. The people still aren't sure he's capable and tough enough to handle looming enemies in Russia and Iran. In the previous debate, which Obama won clearly, the one place he got creamed by McCain was on the subject of Iran.

Likewise, McCain is shining here while talking about Russia. And now Obama essentially waves the white flag by agreeing with McCain. Does Obama make McCain Secretary of Defense in his administration?

hawkguy said...

I mean what happend to the steadfast Navy pilot who never gave in to the enemy in the Hanoi Hilton? Why didnt that same guy show up when we needed a leader to say the bailout is immoral and will only hurt future generations.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Mac does need to draw far brighter lines on every issue, and draw them bolder and brighter every day between now and Nov. 4.

The words "RADICAL CHANGE" need to be in every commercial and every surrogate speech.

Its easy to do. Where you disagree, you say " When I was at Annapolis I learned x, y or z." and my opponents position of a, b or c arises from what he learned from Sol alinsky" or maybe jeremiah wright.

Anonymous said...

Ugh, please don't say the Obama administration. It just doesn't sound right...

Anonymous said...

What a stupid question? Is a 'politician' going to answer that?

Anonymous said...

McCain won that round about Russia

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

BHO would capitulate to every demand that Iran or Russia or North Korea, or whoever else threated us. There is nothing in his political history that would suggest that he would effectively defend this nation. Nothing.

Anonymous said...

Stop using 'pre-conditions' voters don't understand the difference.

Anonymous said...

Here's what McCain needs to do from here on out.

Having Palin trying to link Obama to terrorists looks ridiculous and desperate. The Ayers linkage is too obscure for most Americans.

He, of course, needs to paint Obama as not ready for the presidency. So McCain needs to be running ominous ads featuring Putin and the dude in Iran whose name I still can't spell or pronounce, and ask the American people, "Is he ready?"

Sort of a reverse spin on LBJ's daisy ad against Goldwater, if you will. McCain needs to paint Obama as not ready to fight, moreso than not ready to lead.

At this point, barring a major personal scandal with Obama, that's the only hope he has. And that may be faint hope at that.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Would BHO use a nuclear bunker buster to penetrate the Iranian nuke facilities? Does anyone think that he would?

Anonymous said...

So now Obama is re-writing the UN rules?

Anonymous said...

They both sound like broken records.

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

This is what frustrates me to death:

Why do we let the Democrats rewrite history or, worse yet, pretend it started yesterday.

Hitting North Korea hard back in about 94 or 95 would have been costly, but more costly than a psycho regime with nuclear weapons?

Why don't we ever remind the public that Brother Bill chickened out, recalled the planes and gave birth to a nuclear rougue state.

Anonymous said...

The last eight years did me okay... the last eight days didn't.

hawkguy said...

No Way I am on the nukes Ted he is just as likely to us it on us!!!

Anonymous said...

You succeeded without the help of the government! It was through hard work, not government handouts. What do you think you are doing with your distrabution of wealth programs!

The Deplorable Old Bulldog said...

Sure, BHO, like all libs, doesn't need factual reality, logical inference or deduction or historical context upon which to base an argument, just emotion.

Anonymous said...

overall they both did well, but I hate to say Obama takes this one. I'm still voting for McCain though, but this could have swayed the fence sitters.

hawkguy said...

Right on Ted unfortunately i am afraid the election is going to be all about the economy, and the war will take a back burner and walla PATH TO 911 all over again

Anonymous said...

What the flip kind of "zen" question is that?

It's a question that Obama is masterfully handling, and the only time tonight that he got to sound solidly pro-American. And he's channeling Reagan here by linking the incumbent with failure. All he forgot to say was, "Are you better off than you were eight years ago?"

McCain missed another chance. Here's how he should've answered this question:

"Here's what I don't know, and what the American people don't know. We don't know what will happen if we hand over the reins to the most powerful office in the world to someone who did little more than give a speech at a convention four years ago. Someone most of you hadn't heard of a year ago. Someone who has never served his country -- ever. Someone who comes from a church that routinely spouts off anti-American non-sense. Someone that considers himself a citizen of the world. Someone that would rather lose a war than lose an election. Someone that is not ready to lead. I have a record, you may not always agree with me, but you know I am ready to lead. What we don't know is if my opponent is. And now is not the time to be taking chances."

That's what McCain should've said in his finale. But he didn't. Obama won this debate soundly.

hawkguy said...

DEACE FOR PRESIDENT!!

Anonymous said...

Sounds like Steve just wrote the commercial that should air immediately before too many abscentee ballots get in...

Anonymous said...

The only question now is does Obama have the coat-tails to give himself a filibuster proof Senate? The GOP better hope that Stevens (R-Alaska) doesn't wind up guilty.

Anonymous said...

On the "zen" question, the answers these two gave accentuated the core differences between the two candidates and parties. It is this: in seeking to reach the American Dream, the Left wants to provide the Dream itself as a right (entitlement), and the Right wants to create an environment where the Dream could be achieved through opportunities created for all. Frankly, it should not be hard to see that the Dream of the Left is, as an entitlement, constrained (one size fits most), while for the Right, it is (more likely) unconstrained and can be as high and wide as one can find it.

Anonymous said...

Nominating the “moderate” politician automatically gives credibility to the Democrats’ central premise - that government is the solution. Once you admit this, the Democrats have the better arguments. This is the fundamental flaw behind triangulation.

Anonymous said...

Having Palin trying to link Obama to terrorists looks ridiculous and desperate. The Ayers linkage is too obscure for most Americans.

I disagree. Kick Obama's guts in with it. Show the aftermath of the Weathermen bombings with a narrator saying "Is this the kind of change we want?" Bring back Rev. Wright too.

Anonymous said...

I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Instead of repeating "there's no place like home, there's no place like home"
I find myself repeating "Maybe democrats aren't so bad, maybe democrats aren't so bad". I know it's just a psychological coping mechanism. BHO is a damn good debater. He doesn't have much substance but unfortunately we live with at least 50.1% pinheads. I am concerned.

Bullshit and you know it.

Good Lord anon 7:29 that was a serious rant that started nowhere and somehow managed to take a left turn somewhere after Pluto. Your diatribe lacked all manner of coherence after the question "where's ken" leaving me to wonder if anon is smoking crack while typing again. I am traveling at the moment and just go to exotic locations that, for the most part, could care less about race baiting Obama minions. The beach and beautiful people of Asia do not care about the contrived issues of America’s underclass as double talking Democrat Congressmen loot the treasury.

Ken R said...

On another note, I hung out with a few Arabs in the Casino and they are shocked (and not in a good way) that we might actually elect Obama. Obama will be a disaster as a president in every way.

Finally, the “non-stinky" people of the world wonder why Obama's plane "stinks." Are the Obama minions (one hopes the candidate himself bathes regularly) less likely to shower than the rest of civilized world? The POTUS should not be the stinky one in a negotiation unless the goal is to offend or otherwise nasally assault our friends and adversaries as a negotiation tactic.

OK, ask yourself this:

McCain and Obama both are walking a dog. Dog shits in your yard. Which of the two is most likely to pick it up? Your answer is who you'd vote for. And don't answer some silly-ass bullshit about the Secret Service doing it for either of them, or their wives, or the Secretary of the interior doing it, etc. Which one, McCain or Obama, would be most likely to reach down and pick up the dog shit off your lawn? Nobody's looking, it's late in the evening or early in the morning. A couple yards away is a street light, so it's relatively well lit. So again, who, who, Mcain or Obama, is most likey to reach down and pick up the dog shit off your lawn? The answer is who you vote for.

End of discussion.

PALIN ABUSE OF POWER
Unanimous bipartisan decision - how the hell are you going to spin that one?

Anonymous said...

Spin what?

Wooten tasered his own son and made threats against the gov's family. Democrats in the Alaska legislature are doing their master's (the messiah according to the calypso luey)bidding with this partisan investigation. Republicans will have to step up their game and start using these same tactics against Democrats, who are after all, one hundred times dirtier in everything they do.

Anonymous said...

Is this what we should expect from Democrats if they get more power? Show trials and pre-ordained results?

Alaska (D) Sen. Hollis French, who oversaw the investigation, told the media long before it was concluded that the McCain campaign should be ready for an "October Surprise."

At least be honest with yourselves about this. If this had been Culver (in the identical situation) you would be screaming "IMPEACHMENT". The lack of intellectual honesty from 90% of the posters here is unbelievable.

Anonymous said...

OK, let's be honest and admit Democrats do not hold their own to account for anything and when they are under investigation they stonewall, obfuscate and otherwise evade. Boss Tweed politics are the old and new politics of the Democrats as no amount of corruption is enough for them. Furthermore, this is one report produced by a hack Democrat politician after he told the world he was going to find Palin guilty. He interviewed handpicked antagonists because Republicans knew better than to submit to the kangaroo investigation that far exceeded mandated authority. There is another investigation that is not tainted with politics that will show she did not exceed her authority. Geez, even this one determined she did not exceed her authority only that her husband was upset that an out of control cop was threatened his wife and family. Should've castrated the guy or put him in a car with drunken teddy Kennedy or something if you ask me.

It is the Democrats who lack intellectual honesty and God help us if they win. I do not think we can afford even two years of Obama-Reid-Pelosi.

George W. Bush: Drunken bum through out AWOL Alabama Air National Guard (Texas Division) tour, smoked pot, snorted cocaine. Wife was the refer bag lady in HS. Her reckless behavior led to the death of another student. GW also Has a brother who bilked milions from the S&L's and was busted in Japan for soliciting sex from prostitutes.

G H W Bush: Pardoned the whole Iran-Contra, arms for hostages gang on his last day in office - still holds the record for most pardons.

Ronald Reagan: First wife divorced him for fucking around on her, Second wife (who he fucked while still married to his first wife) was 3 months pregnant when they were married. Declared ketchup a vegetable, otherwise the greatest fucking President since Ike.

Gerald Ford: Pardoned Nixon

Hoover: Sat atround drinking while an economic crisi was supposed to "just blow over". Hence the great depression.

And so on.....

Now what' the name of the Congressman who tried to solicit sex from underage pages? And the speaker of the house who facilitated it?

And the name of the Senator who solicited gay sex in a bathroom airport, his name?

And so on, and so on........

Sure seems there's enough to go around.

Not even close my friend. Face it...the Democrats are the party of corruption. Always have been and always will be.

How many sermons did Obama sit through with his pastor shouting "G** D*** America?"

Anonymous said...

I agree.

Anonymous said...

The Democrats the party of corruption?

Not even close my friend.

Obama was not at the sermon (the one and only sermon) when his pastor said that.

You wouldnt know by listening to all these attack ads though.

As for Republican corruption, why dont you check out

Reps. Vern Buchanan, Ken Calvert, John T. Doolittle, Tom Feeney, Vito Fossella, Jerry Lewis, Gary Miller, Tim Murphy, Steve Pearce, John McCain's good friend Rick Renzi, Don Young and Senator Stevens of Alaska.

Better yet, why don't you just look at the polls and see who America is supporting... Its pretty obvious to me

Anonymous said...

You want us to believe Obama's pastah (ebonics version) only said it one time? Even if we give you that one what about his endless hate whitey and the man speeches? Obama went to that church for 20 years listening to anti-white venom.

The polls and media are in the Democratic tank like they are every year. How do the polls explain the last several Republican presidential victories?

Iowa Republicans picked Romney so don't blame Iowa Republicans. We got it right.

Didn't Huckabee kick Romney's ass in Iowa?

Also, I remember many R's thanking us Obama folks in Iowa for stopping Hillary's inevitable train.

Anonymous said...

I wish Romney was our nominee because he would own the economy issue that Mccain is floundering around on like a fish out of water. Huckabee kick Mitt's ass? I think we all know that his top competitors bailed on Iowa and had their supporters vote for the country bumpkin to derail Mitt. I heard from the Huckatard that Mitt was a Mormon and that he believed the devil was Jesus' brother. Real "Christian" of him to bare false witness like that.

Mahoney Follows Foley Into Scandal

Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-FL) "agreed to a $121,000 payment to a former mistress who worked on his staff and was threatening to sue him," ABC News reports.

"Mahoney, who is married, also promised the woman... a $50,000 a year job for two years at the agency that handles his campaign advertising."

"Mahoney was elected two years ago following the abrupt resignation of his disgraced predecessor, Republican Mark Foley, whose lewd internet messages to teenage boys and Congressional pages created a national outrage."

Obama's socialism will lead to the same results in Venezuala.

Take a look at this.

Venezuela's daily oil production has fallen by a quarter since President Hugo Chavez won power, depriving his "Bolivarian Revolution" of much of the benefit of the global boom in oil prices.

To win allies and forge an anti-American front, Mr Chavez sells oil to friendly countries at low prices. Ironically, the only big customer buying Venezuelan oil at the full market price is the United States, which the president routinely denounces as the "Empire".

"As production falls, the sales to the US become more important," said Pietro Donatello, an oil analyst from Latin Petroleum in the capital, Caracas. "Only the US is paying the full amount for Venezuelan oil and in cash, the rest are in some kind of barter agreements."

The state oil company, PDVSA, produced 3.2 million barrels per day in 1998, the year before Mr Chavez won the presidency. After a decade of rising corruption and inefficiency, daily output has now fallen to 2.4 million barrels, according to OPEC figures. About half of this oil is now delivered at a discount to Mr Chavez's friends around Latin America. The 18 nations in his "Petrocaribe" club, founded in 2005, pay Venezuela only 30 per cent of the market price within 90 days, with rest in instalments spread over 25 years.

The other half - 1.2 million barrels per day - goes to America, Venezuela's only genuinely paying customer.

Meanwhile, Mr Chavez has given PDVSA countless new tasks. "The new PDVSA is central to the social battle for the advance of our country," said Rafael Ramirez, the company's president and the minister for petroleum. "We have worked to convert PDVSA into a key element for the social battle."

The company now grows food after Mr Chavez's price controls emptied supermarket shelves of products like milk and eggs. Another branch produces furniture and domestic appliances in an effort to stem the flow of imports. What PDVSA seems unable to do is produce more oil.

Incredible double standard in Florida with married congressman (D)Mahoney paying $120K in taxpayer money to his mistriss. How is this bringing integrity to congress and wasn't Foley less corrupt since he did not use taxpayer money and did not actually do anything to the pages? Foley didn't harm anyone while Mahoney did. And Democrats call Republicans the "culture of corruption."

Democrats suck.

Stalker? Not hardly. All I know is Ken is responsible for letting Mark Klein, M.D. loose on this web-site. He was his original sponsor and one of his key supporters. Anybody who can be duped into supporting an obvious psychotic such as Mark Klein has no business blogging in here and offering an opinion of any kind. Anybody that can be duped by an idiot of the caliber of Mark Klein shows a reckless disregard for the party as a whole and is only interested in some other selfish agenda. Klein disgraced himself, and shat repeatedly and openly on the party as a whole. Anyone with any common sense whatsoever would have immediately seen through such a fraud as Mark Klein. But not Ken. Oh no, not Ken. Ken is the idiot that left the door open to let that rat in the house in the first place. Sure Ken might have "flip-flopped" on the issue since then, but the fact remains that he supported Klein in such a fashion as to damage the Party and damage another movement very near to my heart. Ken only distanced himself from Klein long after he continously shat on the party as a whole in public and on other blogs. Again, any idiot could have seen Klein for a freak. But not Ken, oh no, not Ken! Completely unforgivable for this clown to have endorsed this freak Klein. Completely unforgivable. Accordingly for an idiot such as that to come in here and blog as if he is an authority on anything oher than peanut butter is sticky is an abomination. That's where I stand. And that's where I stand because I've never been so stupid as to be duped into supporting some idiot, or have given money to some cause, which is so obviously a fraud. To have let Klein on the place is unforgiviable, unforgivable, period.

You want me out of here? You want me to shut up? Then say so! Just be damn careful after you throw me out whose word you consider as valid. It's OK to throw shit on the other side but it sure seems verboten to call out a fink from within. Maybe that's what's wrong with the Party in the first place.

Dude, Mark Klein is irrelevant and has not been heard from since his 17 votes in the NH Primary. My fleeting interest in his Klein’s farce candidacy was the result of my concern for fathers being thrown out of the lives of their children and any candidate willing to deal with that issue deserved to be heard. As it turned out, Klein used that issue to seek a certain level of support and I was one of many who listed to him based on his original position. My famous flip flop occurred shortly after I met Mark Klein since, as has been pointed out, I am overseas and had no way to know he was a loon.
There are two possibilities, my anonymous friend, and they are as follows: you are actually Mark Klein haunting this website (and I find that to be highly likely), or you are just an ordinary stalker. Either way you are a stalker and deranged.
But you are right about wanting to throw you out because I hate your right to post anonymously since you abuse it beyond measure. I think you should grow a pair and make an identity so we could see if you have any other purpose to your posts. Of course, your pretence that you are a decent Republican is completely out of the question given the nature of your posts (not to mention stalking).

Hey, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 6:58:00 PM CDT, if you are really a republican will we see you at the Central Committee meeting this week?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, Ken, exactly what I'd expect from you. Anybody dares to call you out on anything you respond with leveling some kind of charge at them, i.e., "stalker". Took that page right out of your hero Mark klein's play book, too, didn't you? Anytime somebody dared to talk back to him he'd threaten to bring the Secret Service down on them. You know, the Secret Service, seeing as he was announced candidate for the Presidency and counted on you as one of his supporters. Again, pretty weak, Ken. Much as we hold Obama accountable for an association with Ayers, I hold you accountable for Klein. Much as we hold Obama accountable for Rev. Wright, I hold you accountable for Klein. Sorry, Ken, that's how it works. Obama can denounce Wright all he wants but the fact is he was once associated with him. You can denounce Klein all you want, fact is you once supported him and donated money to his cause. Obama may have denounced Ayers but the fact is he was once in the same room as him and supported his cause. Sorry, Ken, you supported Klein, donated money to his cause, and Klein's cause was ultimately found to be harmful to the Party, hence you are guilty by association with Klein. You supported Klein, Ken. There's no flip flopping allowed here. Facts are facts. Just like Obama, Ken will flee from the truth. What a shame it is that telling the truth about someone's past can be derided as "stalking". How weak and pathetic clowns like Ken, Klein, and Obama are. Oh, how they'll do aything to deflect the truth by making wild accusations in response. What's next Ken, you gonna call me a "Commie"?

P.S. Sporer asks me to "get out and stay out", I'll honor his request.

My sources inform me that a McCain-Palin sign has appeared on Mr. Collins' yard since my previous comment. I am a Republican and support Republicans. You spend an inordinate amount of time on that kook Mark Klein. The jury is still out if you are him or not to be honest since other than the racist comments (that you do not refute) I have yet to see you have a single issue. But, reading a few previous comments and specifically your last comment about Chairman Sporer gave me the idea to call your bluff. Tell you what bucko, I will be at the Central Committee meeting and I expect you to confront me to my face and say what you have to say. Put your money where your mouth is and feel free to do it in front of Republicans. What a great chance to prove you are a Republican and a not a Democratic troll.

BTW - not expecting to see you at the meeting ha ha.....

I am beginning to suspect Ken is right about this fellow.

Ken R said...

As I suspected, the anonymous antagonist did not show up to the Central Committee meeting so his claim to be a Republican is highly suspect. I suspect this guy is either a Democratic troll or dumbass Klein (even though he pretends to bash Klein) seeking revenge for my calling him out. Either way, this guy is not an Active Republican and by all accounts, a coward who writes tough but when given the chance to confront me in person decided to run and hide.

Anonymous said...

Ken made the case that this guy is probably Mark Klein and offered up a chance for this person to prove he was really a local person. Ken called it right as the guy has been noticeably absent since Ken's challenge. I bet he's the same guy spewing the racist stuff too. Will Klein be gone this time? We can only hope as much. Klein, nobody likes you so please stay away or at least post under your own name.

Holy crap, I was scanning Presidential websites and found Klein's name and look, what that crazy lug wrote. Based on all the evidence and this crazy post by the doctor it appears his sanity has left him. The crazy lug compared foreign policy to shaving his jewels. OK, I am convinced; Klein did not go away but stayed on the website haunting it with a few aliases in revenge.

I will shave my balls regularly. I understand that despite my age and lack of hair pigment, hairy balls are not meant for the oval office, even if it is gray. Clean shaved balls send a very clear and distinct message to our enemies, a message of resiliency again all unwanted entities from terrorists to public hair. This is why I will shave my testicles regularly and apply a shea butter based moisturizer after. Remember the Klein Mantra- With clean shaved balls, no terrorist can penetrate these walls.
