You know you’ve hit a Democrat when…….

………….. they personally attack you. I arrived home tonight to learn that I have become something of a tempest in a teapot. It appears that both gubernatorial candidate Culver and Congressman Boswell have taken umbrage at my recent post about Michael J. Fox-still visible below.

It’s pretty obvious that the Democrats concede the factual accuracy of my assertions. Mr. Fox has now admitted that his symptoms appeared more severe becuase he was overmedicated, so it logically follows that both he and his producer knew that the commercials were not an accurate representation of his true position. Its also not as if Mr. Fox lacks a history of manipulating his medications to intesify his tremors, like when appeared before Congress. Rather than even attempt to defend their shameless and deceptive exploitation of Mr. Fox’s personal tragedy the Democrats employ their shopworn tactic of attacking the critic who exposes one of their lies with inconvenient factual truth. Well guys, we haven’t forgotten what you all said about Kenneth Starr and countless other critics who said Bill Clinton did, in fact, have sex with that young woman, Ms. Lewinski, so I think we know how to handle this one.

Exploiting a Parkinson’s patient is about as low as it gets. Rather than being content to scrape at the bottom of the barrel Boswell and the other Dems dig right into the sludge by putting false and grossly distorted statements into the mouth of that victim. So Messr. Boswell and Culver, I reiterate my earlier question, now in the same form as when it was originally posed by one of my lawyer heroes Special Counsel for the Army Joseph N. Welch who, when confronted with the same politics of character assassination as those in which you are now engaged, asked Joe McCarthy, “You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”

So, you’re stuck with me.

You should resign.

Keep up the good work...and Sporer, you should resign as soon as Senator Kerry resigns for insulting the troops.

Yeah, Sporer, you should resign so we can focus on fighting with each other again.

Great earlier analogy to Coulter-this is the perfect example.

Jesus Christ Anonymous are you mindless? What the hell more proof do you need? Don't you think the ads were false, or that Fox hasn't admitted the tremors were worsened by overmedication.

Fuck man, how much cool aid did you drink?

Whew, I am glad Culver and Boswell solved all the other problems in the world, so they could focus on Sporer's comments on a blog.

Just further proof that Nussle defeat is going to be a damn shame...

Yeah, like we'd want our one pitbull to step aside because he hurt some Demcrat's feelings.

Since when is it in the job description of congressional candidates to meddle in the affairs of county party organizations?

Let's look at it this way as far as why private research isn't investing in this.

Let's say that stem cells do hold a cure for a disease. A private company spends billions researching it. Then they want some of their money back, right? A return on their investment, right?

They want to sell the cure. You think Democrats are whining now, wait until you try to profit off the most helpless of our societies, one of their biggest constituencies, the poor.

Christ, you think they are trotting up victims now, wait until they trot up the poor schlub who can't afford the cure.

You have to believe that any company is thinking that. And that they would do better to stock the executive wash room with $100 bills than toilet paper. At least they'd get something for their money.

The left simply has not learned that free speech goes both ways.

Don't ever resign unless it is to be the next State Chairman!

Oh, and I love how the DSM Register circles the wagons for their own pet causes and people that all coincidentally happen to be liberal. Note, Judge Pelton is enduring a massive campaign to oust him and the DSM Register prints one letter in relation to this man bites dog story. They print a letter in favor of his retention. If he had ruled against one of their liberal causes I am sure they would be all over the guy.

Go to Fox for fair and balanced. As for Teddy, stay the same and keep taking it to the liberals. Steve King and Ted Sporer are the future of this Iowa Republican Party.

Resign????

Don't you dare! After NOv. 7 we are going to need new leadership.

I hear you had quite the debate with protestors today?

Jeremie Jordan said...

Don't worry Sporer, Chris doesn't really understand the word "debate." I've been on his blog and have seen what passes as rational discourse...

Wow, Howard Dean doesn't draw this much attention and that guy is truly wacky.

Good work Ted and the radical left 5th column that actually wants the US to fail is running out of ideas. Soon you will be leading us as the State Chairman and watch out Iowa!

You go, Ted. Or rather, you stay. Even Ike lost 44 House seats in his sixth year; we lost about 26.

In the immortal words of the Republican governor of California, "We'll be back!"
