We just picked up a little bit of Presidential news that might have been hiding under the radar. Underdog candidate Hugh Cort, a security analyst running for President, won the South County, Rhode Island GOP straw poll.
The interesting nature of the win was the number of votes cast. Cort had 1522 votes, a significant number for a county event.
More detailed information is available on a Blue Hen website, Anchor Rising and on a conservative ideology blog, Conservative President 2008.
Hugh is very smart guy, and completely on target about what must be done to win the larger war on terror.

Oh Beloved Chairman,
Hugh's website states he will be in Des Moines on June 12 at the Chairman's BBQ at the RPI
OMG how did Cox's people miss this all important early contest ?
Okay so I'm a little slow on finding this post, with trying to learn about ALL the candidates. It's obvious with that vote total Cort bought the straw poll, but isn't that how every campaign wins straw polls?
