A new link and a great read

I've added an interesting local left wing blog from our jihadist sympathizing friend No Need 4 The Need. More discussion is always a good thing. This is one of the few liberal blogs that allows immediate open comment posting. I think we should educate them so stop over at The Century of the Common Iowan.

On a related note, in the lastest of "we'll say anything to defame George W. Bush" offering from the American left, the Democrats are blaming the President and the Iraq campaign on the inability of the Democrat governor in Kansas to fully respond to the Greensburg tornado. The problem is, its a total lie. The Jayhawks have everything they need. Michelle Malkin is all over this one with a great read.

At least the Administration putting up a little fight before this lie makes its way around the world.

I believe this to be an orchestrated attempt by the DNC (or some related left-wing group)to take advantage of a human tragedy and make political hay at the same time.

It was on a local newscast regarding Iowa flooding that this issue first came to light. Seems the local Iowa TV stations were all too willing to advance Democrat talking points. When the same story came from Kansas, it was apparent, this was no accident.

At least the Iowa National Guard has been trying to dispell the notion that because of Bush, Iowa is vulnerable to insufficent protections by our National Guard.

There was a national guard group ready to do sandbagging in southwestern Iowa and Gov. Culver told them no.

I blame Rumsfeld.

What the hell is going on over at Krusty? Somebody go after him for calling for Lundby's head on a platter?

Lundy hasn't impressed me at all. She stood against IowaFathers.com when we wanted presumable Joint Physical Care calling us a radical group or something along those lines.

Who cares. Krusty was lame. He claims to be a conservative but still supports the Republicans.

The KS Governor was just spewing the Mikey Moore talking points.

The republican senate leadership is a contradiction in terms.

Krusty was spot on.

Farewell my friend. You will be missed.

Whew...

I read new link and a great read and I thought they were one and the same.

The No Common Sense Iowan is only good for a laugh and cut and pasted DNC talking points. God how I do hate those type of blogs.

Our raison d'ĂȘtre here at TRS

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” John Stuart Mill

We at The Real Sporer believe that the crises of our generation is the preservation of a United States of America based on fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Oddly enough, our generation, that grew in the quiet and secure 50s, 60s and 70s and thought we could escape history now find ourselves at the cross roads of history. At a time when the prevailing media, academic and even now industrial elites find the easy road of paternalistic socialist totalitarianism more expedient to travel we are convinced that only preserving the more traditional America will better provide the well known blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to us and our posterity.

In the real world, the Republican freedom agenda is the only alternative to the thought police and rations commissar of the socialist nanny state. But the agenda that we share with the founding generation, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, will never again prevail if we don't fight our generation's battle to renew America's commitment to freedom with our socialist adversaries.

Our mission statement is therefore clear: provide the information and argument that leads to a Republican Renaissance and Republican governance.
