Tancredo and Mitt On Target

Today was a very good day for Republicans, too much good news for any one twenty four hour time blogging period. Having so many top flight guys in our Presidential field gives us an unusual opportunity to exploit these good days.

Tancredo was on a home run issue today-if we want to use it.

ABC News recently aired a story that gave operational details of our on-going covert operations inside Iran. Yes,
ABC outed classified information about our covert operatives in Iran.

This leaking of classified security information so that utterly treasonous liberal organs like the New York Times can broadcast it to the world has to stop. Even liberal Democrats, who were apparently sufficiently sensitive to the concept of classified information, as demonstrated by the howls over Valerie Plame (whose identity wasn’t classified and wasn’t leaked), should understand that leaking information about covert operations in a nation that says it wants to exterminate Israel and destroy the United States will at least endanger the persons involved in those covert operations, and possibly millions of other lives as well.

Tancredo has pounced on this issue. Again real leadership and smart politics. Every Republican in Congress should echo the Democrat treatment of the Valerie Plame non leak issue. Every day Republicans should rise on the floor and demand a full investigation of the leak and the prosecution of the leaker. Every day.

P.S. It looks like the idea is catching because Mitt also has
recognized the opportunities presented by this left wing overreach as I typed this post. I hope we keep it up.

TS,

Is Troy Cook really considering running against Harkin? TS, i dont understand why the Rs would have a PRIMARY to see who gets the honor of running against Harkin...! Steve Rathje vs Troy Cook....thats just what we need.

primaries among unknowns aren't bad, they allow people to sort out the best candidate and help a new candidate improve their skills.

We really need to prosecute sedition and treason.

I am in favor of the death penalty and we have such cut and dry cases worth prosecuting. Why do we allow it? Because most of our government is dominated by liberals at all levels. Republicans play very fair and we've given liberals power with the exception of Congress and the Presidency as we fight at that level. Check your school boards, judiciary, county, state, and every other level as Democrats dominate. No wonder we don't prosecute - we can't!

remember the screaming and cries from them about Valerie Plame? And THAT wasn't even a secret. What happened to their patriotism?

oh yea, they aren't patriotic. They just play silly power games.
