Second-Archie joins the choir; will other Democrats join the Revolution?

What did TSR predict? That Archie was joining Matt Whitaker’s choir, that’s what. Bingo.

On a human level, this really is a tragedy. Archie’s done some good in his public life (and I know nothing of his private life so I presume decency there as well). I certainly hope that Archie avoids the pen and just has to pay a fine.

On a public level, however, this is a great first step toward cleaning up the corrupt Democrat Polk County Machine. I know that there are many good, decent Democrats in this county, many of whom are active in politics. Every time this corrupt machine devours public money for private gain, both illegally like at least two CIETC executives (and Archie’s plea has to terrify the others, although Archie’s bad memory certainly provides the defense with impeachment fodder made of gold) and legally, like John Mauro’s recent acquisition of almost five million of your dollars they fleece everyone, not just Republicans.

About 45-50% of those tax dollars comes from registered Democrats right here in Polk County. I cannot believe that decent honest Democrats are more afraid of a Board of Supervisors lead by Republicans
Bob Brownell and E.J. Giovanetti than they are sick of being fleeced by this corrupt gang of Democrat kleptocrats.

I know a lot of working class families, guys from Deere and Firestone. Their jobs don't depend on government spending and they sure as hell don't have the kind of dime to waste builiding John Mauro's retirement dream or Jack Hatch's increasingly vast fortune. Polk County needs a revolution and we need honest Polk County Democrats who have tired of this corruption to cross party lines on this issue and join with us in cleaning out the Machine.

BREAKING NEWS: A democrat gets criticized by a democrat!

WASHINGTON (AP) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rebuked a fellow San Francisco Bay-area liberal Friday for what she said were "inappropriate" comments about Iraq during a congressional debate.

During a debate on children's health care Thursday, Rep. Pete Stark accused Republicans of sending troops to Iraq to "get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."

did you know that bushhating syndrome is a recognized psychological disorder? they treat it in cuba said...

You don't have money to fund the war or children," Stark accused Republicans. "But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."

After numerous Republicans called on him to apologize, Stark said it was they who should be apologizing, for failing to provide the votes to override Bush's veto

Former Gov. Roy Barnes, a Democrat who was defeated in 2002, told reporters this week that he had planned to offer grants to fix leaks that waste millions of gallons of water each year.

He also said he planned to build three new state reservoirs in north and west Georgia to help insulate the state from a future water crisis. But those plans died...

I wouldn't mind a view with wind turbines. Who the fuck cares?

Sure..not a lot of people would mind that view..

You have to understand the Massachusetts liberal mindset..

It is THEIR job to tell the rest of us "little people" how we are to live our lives..

However, if someone has the AUDACITY to try make us live by the same rules we impose upon everyone else...we will fight with all of our power to prevent that.

So..wind power and wind farms are wonderful for everyone else....its dreadful for us in our view of Nantucket Sound...we just cant have that..

Our raison d'ĂȘtre here at TRS

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” John Stuart Mill

We at The Real Sporer believe that the crises of our generation is the preservation of a United States of America based on fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Oddly enough, our generation, that grew in the quiet and secure 50s, 60s and 70s and thought we could escape history now find ourselves at the cross roads of history. At a time when the prevailing media, academic and even now industrial elites find the easy road of paternalistic socialist totalitarianism more expedient to travel we are convinced that only preserving the more traditional America will better provide the well known blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to us and our posterity.

In the real world, the Republican freedom agenda is the only alternative to the thought police and rations commissar of the socialist nanny state. But the agenda that we share with the founding generation, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, will never again prevail if we don't fight our generation's battle to renew America's commitment to freedom with our socialist adversaries.

Our mission statement is therefore clear: provide the information and argument that leads to a Republican Renaissance and Republican governance.
