Democrats want Huck to win. That's why not a single negative press release since his rise in polls. The negative Democrat press releases on Mitt have been constant. They want Huck because they see him as a light weight (theology school dropout vs. BYU valedictorian, Harvard law school/MBA school grad, etc.). Please don't fall for this. Please vote for Mitt so we don't have 4 years of Hillary. Thanks!!

Huckabee and his supporters always seem to point out that Romney's attacking him. The already nascent Huck-a-bust will undoubtedly be blamed on Romney by Huck and his supporters. However . . . I don't think that Romney had anything to do with the fact that essentially every conservative with a microphone or blog has been railing against Huckabee for the last few weeks. Need some evidence?:

Rush Limbaugh
Bob Novak
Condileeza Rice
Peggy Noonan
Charles Kruthammer
Michelle Malkin
Fred Barnes

George Will-- ( these comments too on a TV news show)
Laura Ingraham
David Limbaugh
Kim Strassell
Pat Buchanan
Sean Hannity (kind of . . . not frontal attacks, but plenty of comments expressing concern with him as the potential GOP nominee)
Michael Reagan
Glenn Beck (semi "reconciliation" ---- but then he's still not too impressed)
Matt Drudge (it's obvious that he has a bone to pick with Huckabee given his coverage of late)
Jim Geraghty
Tony Blankley
Ann Coulter
Rich Lowry
Dean Barnett
Mark Hemningway
Austin Hill
Tom Bevan
Kathryn Jean Lopez
John Hinderaker
Hugh Hewitt
Frank Gaffney
Peter Wehner
Paul Mirengoff ( here and here too)
The Editors of National Review (Oh yeah, this one too)

Conclusion: Huckabee's not a full-spectrum conservative and the GOP would be unwise to give him the nomination. Romney has had to point out the un-conservative spots in Huck's record because the MSM/DNC axis sure hasn't been (they want him as the GOP nominee) and because McCain and Rudy want Huck to win Iowa to stifle Romney's path to the nomination. However, Romney is hardly alone in pointing out Huckabee's worrisome record.

Translation of Jeff Fuller's list: Huckabee's unpopular with the neocons. He'd be bad for the interests of global dragon war mongering crowd.

Republicans are ready to turn the page too. Huck is a new kind of guy that isn't the status quo. ALL of congress is hated for being out of touch with the electorate.

Huck may just be the one that brings us all back. Reprioritize and redo government into a modern world.

Same ole same ole isn't what we want for republicans either. All the other candidates are just same ole same ole.

Maybe a new world view is needed by all of congress.

Just like I disagreed with Hitlery that Obama was "naive", so do I disagree with the establishment republicans that Huck is "naive".

By GLEN JOHNSON

MILFORD, N.H. (AP) - The Concord Monitor broke with political tradition Sunday, telling readers in the state with the first presidential primary why they should not vote for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney instead of whom they should support.

In a scathing anti-endorsement that called Romney a "disquieting figure," the New Hampshire newspaper's editorial board said he looks and acts like a presidential contender but "surely must be stopped" because he lacks the core philosophical beliefs to be a trustworthy president.
In particular, the newspaper noted the former Massachusetts governor's change of heart on such issues as abortion rights, stem-cell research and access to emergency contraception, as well as on signing an anti-tax pledge.

"When New Hampshire partisans are asked to defend the state's first-in-the-nation primary, we talk about our ability to see the candidates up close, ask tough questions and see through the baloney.

If a candidate is a phony, we assure ourselves and the rest of the world, we'll know it," the newspaper said. "Mitt Romney is such a candidate.

New Hampshire Republicans and independents must vote no."

Ted:

Come on, once and for all put Mark Klein on the poll. It would be hilarious to think of that fucker sitting up three days straight voting for himself. Like Howard Hughes, sitting naked in a chair, 12 boxes of Kleenex, maniacally voting for himself over and over, mumbling about the conspiracy against him..........

On second thought, keep him off the poll. That's a funny enough thought as it is.

Sack, good one.

Let's not forget John McCain. He voted AGAINST tax cuts, was a co-author of the Al Qaeda Bill of Rights, favors amnesty and uses the Constitution as toilet paper.

If I want someone who is going to sponsor legislation with Feingold and Kennedy, I will vote for a DemocRAT.

Jeff Fuller said...

To Ouch,

Mitt will gladly take the "anti-endorsement" of the ultra-liberal Concord Monitor Editorial board. That kind of attention and singling out will drive independent minded NH voters over to Mitt . . . because they realize that the Concord Monitor Editorial board DOES NOT WANT A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN AS PRESIDENT!

They call this a badge of honor.

Anonymous said...

Bobby the Sack--The 52% I got on Ted's poll was completely legitimate. Neither Ted or anyone else alleged otherwise.

The Iowa GOP refused my $15,000 for a ballot line at Ames because they feared I might humiliate the approved, well funded candidates again. It's all a money game for the honchos. Pretty tough to get Mitt to drop millions into the party's and Iowa consultants' pockets when an outsider with no dough and relying on volunteers could win.

Anonymous 8:49,

It confuses me why people still fall for populist rhetoric. Remember who got hammered when the stock market tanked in 2001? All the layoffs, professional jobs, and union jobs lost? Remember all the shipping of manufacturing jobs elsewhere?

Remember all the pensions that went belly up?

Name calling, and ad hominem attacks like 'club for greed' are ridiculously naive.

Institutional investors. You know who the institutional investors are? That's your grandma and her pension. That's your uncle and his 401K. That's your neighbor and his mutual funds. That's the difference between your employer offering dental or not.

Realigning with the electorate my eye. Huckabee isn't going to re-tool government for the modern world, he wants to take us back to the forties when people still fell for lines like the ones he leads with.

Has everyone forgotten how bad McCain is for policy? We have such short attention spans sometimes! He's for amnesty, curbing free speech with McCain-Feingold, and he snubs conservatives every time he gets a chance. Why would we shoot ourselves in the foot?

Romney on the other hand, is qualified, and incredibly talented. He will be among the best Presidents we've ever had.

Anonymous said...

Romney will make the world safe for private equity and the mega financials to suck what's left of the middle class dry.

The last thing we need in the White House is another president with an evangelical outlook on foreign policy. That's an Rx for more wars.

I had to respond to Doc's latest internet terrorism and continued misrepresentations of his status with the Father's Rights movement on www.iowafathers.com since Doc is STRANGELY silent on the message board of his power base.

http://forums.iowafathers.com/tool/post/iowafather/vpost?id=1129117&pid=22735259#post22735259

I had to do a cut and paste (sorry it had to be done) but not in the manner of Doc Klein which is just to blather on and on - this one has a purpose. Here is my response to Doc Klein for just about everything. It is directed at the Father's movement so they will know what's been up to on this website and to call him out for not having ANY Iowa support.

A few thoughts come to mind for the readers of these updates:

#1 - I do feel the Democrats are mostly unfavorable to the rights of fathers to have equal access to their children but that does not mean we should not continue to reach out to Democrats.

#2 - I would vote for ANYONE else running for President rather than Doc at this point since I don't think Doc is grounded in reality. Another reason is because every other candidate understands the need to actually run a campaign as opposed to simply going to the rallies of their opponents.

#3 - I don't really appreciate Doc's reference to my girlfriend from the Philippines in a less than honorable manner. Are all women from the Philippines as worthless? For those who do not know, one of our most active http://www.iowafathers.com members is a woman doctor from the Philippines whose son went through a difficult custody situation. I suspect she would take offense to Doc's negative reference about my girlfriend. Well, unlike Doc I guess I just can't go get supermodels as his many posts on Sporer indicate he's quite the lady's man!

#4 - Doc continually refers to the Father's Rights movements of America as his power base. Interesting he has nothing to do with this website if he's so influential with us right? What about practically every other Father's Rights activist and why doesn't he have their support? He's actually met many and they flee from him - why?

#5 - Notwithstanding these issues, Doc refuses to answer if he will stop blogging on Ted's website once he's finished with the IOWA Caucus. The issue for us is I am sure we've GREATLY HARMED the Father's Movement thanks to his ridiculous ratings. We've surely alienated many good Republicans away thanks to our prior association with this clown which is why I started to speak out against him 7 months ago. It is important we expose Klein for the charlatan he is and his ego filled quest which has nothing to do with us. In fact, Doc's harmed us much more than helped at this point.

Excellent post, Ken, excellent. I only wish I could find the blog of the Iowa College Republican who dismissed Klein in a very similar fashion. He also mentioned the mistake of having given Klein some attention. After that he stated he literally had to run from Klein, and his lap dog Taylor, any time he saw them at a function.

And as for Klein going away. Well, you can forget that, the poor fink has nothing else to do. We're all he's got.....

Romney is clearly a skilled and proven leader. Romney's success in his private career, as Governor of liberal Mass. In raising his 5 boys. It seems clear to me that Romney is the smart choice. In 8 out of the 10 past elections, the party who nominated their candidate first was the party to win the general election. Romney is the candidate who could win in Iowa and New Hampshire. If Romney won in Iowa and New Hampshire, Republicans might be able to get behind Romney while democrats fight it out between Clinton and Obama. The worst thing that could happen for Republicans would be to have to go to convention while the democrats have selected their candidate. The Democrats will be so far ahead of us in their campaign by the time we pick our nominee that the contest will already be over before it has started. We should nominate Mitt Romney and put everything we have behind the smart choice.

Ken--I don't answer to you or anyone else about where and when I blog.

Amazed so many in the fathers rights movement quickly fall back in love only to end up back in the family court hot seat again. I don't give a hoot what your honey's background is. Ken, my take on you is you're not smart enough, or tough enough, to navigate the shoals of modern romance.

Ken- "We've surely alienated many good Republicans(being associated with Mark Klein)..."

So what? The GOP has done nothing but screw fathers for past 8 years. Pertinent to your situation the administration recently lowered the justification for withholding passports from $5000 to $2500 in child support arrearages.

Harmed the movement? Are you kidding? The movement's been sucking GOP's and the feminists' toes in hopes of being thrown a meaningless pr scrap with no legal or policy significance.

The reality is should I fail to turn in a credible performance in New Hampshire I'd quit and return to my very pleasant low key life in California.

I'll play very long odds for a fabulous prize, but I don't do impossible odds. Should I leave I came in under budget and had the experience of a lifetime.

But should I pull a big surprise in New Hampshire things will really be very different in American politics.

I'll be voting for Fred Thompson.

Dr. Klein has demonstrated that it is, indeed, he and not Larry Flynt that is the true cost of the First Amendment.

I don't, however, much care for your attacks on Kenny Richards, Doc. You know, the hero that volunteered for Iraq? Knock that shit off or you'll get banned here too.

Anonymous said...

Ted--I'll lay off Ken Richards if he ceases attacking me. He picked this fight with me.

I earned my 1st Amendment rights by volunteering twice during the Viet Nam War era. When I did it the second time I was a draft exempt 4C, someone who completed Selective Service requirements.

America's is lucky to have political amateurs like me willing to put myself on the line at the ballot box and tolerate the bitter, and sometimes unfair very personal criticism, which naturally accompanies running for public office.

I've come to admire Hillary Clinton for that reason. Think she's all wrong for the White House but the lady's got grit.

When looking at all the factors most important in a candidate, Mitt Romney is the best candidate. Some people may like other candidates on single issues, but as a package, nobody is better than Romney. For example:

- Proven conservative values (check out his record as Mass. governor--consistently pro-life, pro-family, fiscally conservative, etc.)
- Broad and deep executive experience (in business, government, and the Olympics)
- Proven stand against illegal immigration (voted against state education support to illegals)
- Unequaled education (MBA and law degree from Harvard)

No candidate can match Romney on these issues across the board.

FOR THOSE STILL WILLING TO CONSIDER ROMNEY here are a few videos of that will help you make an honest and informed decision. They address the THREE CRITICISIMS that have gained the most traction against him: 1) he’s too scripted; 2) he’s a Mormon; and 3) he’s a flip-flopper

1) On being too Scripted:
I don’t see this necessarily as a weakness. It means he respects the office of President enough to actually think, plan, and strategize. It means HE’S DELIBERATE NOT RASH. This DOESN’T mean he isn’t or can’t be personable; it just means he doesn’t think you should have to vote for him only for personal reasons. “PERSONAL” REASONS DON’T WIN IN THE ARENA OF IDEAS. Luckily, there are objective reasons to vote for him like his message and his record. Still, the camera was rolling during the break of a radio show for which he was a guest. The host got him talking about his views and the following video was captured AS HE WAS OFF-AIR (“unscripted” begins at about 9 min).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G9hydflwEQ

2) On being a Mormon:
In the above video you could hear the beginnings of what Romney really thinks of THE ROLE OF RELIGION IN POLITICS. These thoughts were formalized in his “Faith in America” speech. It was widely regarded by conservatives as INSPIRATIONAL. The speech is here:

http://www.mittromney.com/Mitt-TV/index or
http://mittromney.permissiontv.com/index.html

This speech may be persuasive to those of you who fear the Mormon influence in his presidency. It will not convince those of you who think that just being a Mormon itself should disqualify him. For that, NO AMOUNT OF REASONING WILL SUFFICE BECAUSE THAT POSITION IN NOT BASED IN REASON. All I can say is, whatever Romney believes, it has not inhibited his ability to achieve HUGE success in virtually everything he has done.

EVANGELICALS FOR MITT address the Mormon issue:

http://www.evangelicalsformitt.org/front_page/why_we_dont_not_support_him.php

3) On being a Flip-Flopper:
In complete contradiction to the fear that Romney will stick to his core beliefs in the face of political realities is the fear that he will follow popular political realities over deeply held beliefs. For nearly one hour on “Meet the Press” Russert GRILLED ROMNEY ON EVERY CHARGE OF FLIP-FLPPING that has come up. This is one of the most thorough defenses FROM ROMNEY on the flip-flop charge. Watch it and form YOUR OWN IDEA about Romney. DON’T LISTEN TO ME or the accusations of any one else. Just ask yourself, “Is this man deserving of the pejorative ‘flip-flop’ charge laid on him by his enemies?”

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/22283301#22283301

If the above links don’t work then please take the time to find these videos online and watch them openly. Thank you. MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!

In two larger NH towns where Romney had events recently. At both attendees were largely staff and local politicos. Billed as "Ask Mitt Anything" he didn't need to speak because he was among the faithful.

Very rarely run into Romney supporterS in contrast to Ron Paul's. When I meet Paul's supporters, I tell them while I'm on the same page foreign policy wise as Paul, I believe his economics are naive.
Getting rid of the Federal Reserve would sink the dollar to pennies. I've lived in a country with "competing currencies". That results in absolute ruin for the poor and middle classes paid in the local currency. Here under such a scheme all the real business would be conducted in euros!

We'd also end up with a currency black market because the government would set unrealistically high dollar exchange rates against the favored foreign currency.

I also tell Paul's supporters we need a shrink in the White House a lot more than an OB!

I've asked that before too. Klein claims the Military waived health requirements during that time and that he passed basic training with flying colors.

I'd like to see further proof of this as well. My guess is that such a request will go for naught and we'll hear some nonsense that now we're "swift boating" Klein.

Changes in enlistment criteria began early in the
Vietnam War. With a shortage of people during the early war years, Secretary of Defense Robert
McNamara came up with a plan to meet manpower
needs and “salvage hundreds of thousands of young
men from economic deprivation by bringing them
into the armed services.” The plan significantly
relaxed entry standards. During the 3-year span of
Project 100,000 (as it was called), 240,000 persons
entered active duty.

These men were considered
only marginally qualified mentally by many and
were more likely to desert, not complete a full tour,
and be court-martialed than other service members.

I was just surfing the IowaFathers.com website thanks to an earlier reference and guess what I read? There is a damning list of Doctor Klein's nutty statements compiled by somebody who is in the knows with regard to Doctor Klein. It is pretty bad if you look at the roll up but just in case people are less inclined to read another website I will post them here.

For any Mark Klein apologists left within our Iowa movement I decided to post Mark Klein's posts for the last 20 days on Ted Sporer's website. Remember also everyone reading the website is lead to believe he has connections to our group but I betrayed him so all of you "sheep" fell away. As for the full blog list it goes for an incredible 34 pages but the highlights are listed below:

The 52% I got on Ted's poll was completely legitimate.

Neither Ted or anyone else alleged otherwise.

The Iowa GOP refused my $15,000 for a ballot line at Ames because they feared I might humiliate the approved, well funded candidates again.

Amazed so many in the fathers rights movement quickly fall back in love only to end up back in the family court hot seat again.

I also tell Paul's supporters we need a shrink in the White House a lot more than an OB!

My guess is the fix is in for Huckabee.

Everyone should see "Charlie Wilson's War". We're pretty close to where the Soviets were when the Afghan War went sour ending up the regime's disintegration.

If we went under, we'd merge into the EU like North American Union with key decisions made in a "Brussels" located in Mexico or Canada. Most people's savings would be wiped out in the conversion to the Amero.

Should I leave the Republican Party because I couldn't make a credible showing in the New Hampshire I might reconsider my opposition to the North American Union.

The test for me whether there is any intelligent life left in the Republican Party will on Jan 8 in the New Hampshire Primary.

The antipathy is entirely mutual.

I got the 52% fair and square which is why I got booted off the poll and refused a ballot line at Ames.

Never understood Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels" until I campaigned in Iowa where to my amazement the Lilliputians now reside.

Total gall to get down on my case when I was one cheated in the straw polls.

Ken Richards, you're in exile in Africa because your Republican buddies helped set up the family court Gestapo persecuting you. You have a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome manifested by identifying with your tormentors!

Getting 250+ plus votes in Ted's straw poll is indeed impressive given its relatively low voting totals. If Ted and the party thought otherwise, they'd have let my results ride and grow as well has let me on the Ames Straw Poll.

My situation with the Iowa Fathers, and the movement's generally, is akin to Moses's problem. So beaten down emotionally by 400 years of slavery in Egypt, the Exodus story is essentially a one man story.

You must be an emotional cripple to attack me to WORD DELETED up to the political scumbags who wrecked your life so to drive you into permanent exile.

Ken--You're responsible for screwing up the father's rights folks from making significant political progress by not standing up to your buddy Ted to keep me on the poll.

Had I stayed on that poll I'd be dominating it.

With the fathers fired up plus other support I could have generated with publicity off Ted's poll I would have wiped the floor with the Big Dogs at Ames.

But with you WORD DELETED Ted's political WORD DELETED the party felt free to welch on a deal I made with Ted and Leon over lunch to put me on the poll by paying the $15,000 listing. The night before I was to pay the money met with Brian Iehl and BJ Smith in Marshalltown to make out strategy!

While you're lying on the beach in Subic with your local honey WORD DELETED you dry 24/7, the fathers are beng WORD DELETED ed dry the Gestapo your Republican buddies

In my version Exodus you'd appear in the Golden Calf chapter.

The GOP will do whatever's necessary to ensure Huckabee wins on 1/3. That's why I left Iowa a month ago to campaign full time in New Hampshire.

Wasn't going to let pass Ken Richards' betrayal of the fathers movement to WORD DELETED Ted's political WORD DELETED .
Very creepy the Iowa GOP has such influence over the presidential race.

New Hampshire is the last bastion of real democracy in America.

My greatest asset is my tenacity by not succumbing to life long multiple disabilities and emotional struggles they engendered.

Guys, forget about me for the rest of the night. for those of you who can still get it up, and keep it up, get laid!

Steve King should endorse me if only because I'm his only supporter in the 9th District of California

I hear of their plot to ban hetereosexuality which will start with special taxes and loss of deductions for the sexually misguided.

With ultra sophisticated night vision scopes watch unloading of Cuban planes chock full of pro-gay video games and DVDs to convert the children starting just after birth and cash destined for the Nancy Pelosi machine.

Have secret recordings of some of the folks mentioned in this London Times article discussing a legislative agenda to bring down of hetereosexuality with Nancy, Barbara, and Hillary.

Lysenkoism controlled Soviet political thinking much in same way for what passes for thinking in today's Iowa Republican Party.

Lost where? I have no chance in Iowa because the party is so hostile to me I have no confidence the votes I get will be fairly counted and reported. Besides, I suspect the caucuses will be rigged to give Huckabee a win regardless of the raw count.

Should I fail to turn in a credible performance in New Hampshire I will leave the GOP to becomes an independent.

The Iowa party's crooked and most of the people who comment here are crackpots.

For me the mimimal credible performance in the NH primary is beating at least one of well known GOP candidates.

I win either way. A good showing makes me a contender and a national political figure.

In losing I'll return home very proud of what I did having had the experience of a lifetime by making a serious try for POTUS. Among my souvenirs will be a framed copy of the NH primary ballot listing my name!

Interview went very well. Will soon appear on the magazine's be online site. When it appears, I'll post the link.

Neverthless I won't foreclose on the option of posting where and when I want.

Couldn't imagine blogging here very often following the Iowa caucuses.

Beating Keyes would be significant enough to gain national attention but I'm going after the real big game in this race.

nuclear weapons everyone might be better off if they had them.

North Korea since it built several a-bombs is significantly less bellicose knowing a US/South Korean conventional attack
India and Pakistan have gotten along much better since them acquiring them.

After Red China got them, it diverted its resources into conquering us the way we subdued the Indians.

Rather than using fire water and free food, China flooded America with cheap trade goods much like Peter Styvesant did buying Manhattan with $24 of wampom!

Nuclear weapons supported by relentless diplomacy, cultural and trade contacts, and the containment doctrine got us through the Cold War unscathed.

Israel would be more rather than less secure were Iran nuclearized.

A letter caught up with me yesterday from the party stating I wasn't on the primary ballot despite having an energetic following in northeast Georgia.

In a Klein Administration we're going to adopt the Hertz approach with a "rent-a-defense" policy.

New Hampshire is the last bastion of real democracy in America. Just takes a $1000 fee to get on the presidential primary ballot.

REAL EDUCATIONAL REFORM would be one of the top Klein Administration priorities. Want to help transform our schools so many home schooling families will return to public education.

I must be doing something right because several of my Manchester signs at key interesections were swiped overnight.

Hope from video surveillance tapes to indentify who's stealing my signs. My complaints blogs about missing brochures at the hotel complex where I and other campaign staffs stay resulted in he front desk returning most late yesterday. The clerk unexpectedly found them in his office.

Ron Paul's the big sign fella but I working to catch up.

Met up today with a very sour Tancredo chair while handing out brochures in a politician friendly restaurant. Got pretty squirrelly seeing me there.

Taking off shortly for my "night shift" campaigning. With very little money and staff gotta campaign the old fashioned way by actually meeting and greeting voters.

Big money campaigns nowadays peddle atavars not candidates. I may be the only candidate not living 24/7 in a 2nd Life political campaign game.

Sure could use some of those Linden dollars which I believe are gaining against Uncle Sam's funny money.

The Iowa GOP is the 21st century version of Boss Tweed's Tammany Hall or Richard Daly Sr.'S Chicago.

The Iowa caucuses may have started out straight but over time the Iowa GOP decided to manipulate the system to play king maker in part to WORD DELETED as money as possible out of the candidates. Poor John Cox is a great example. In contrast to me he had no chance at Ames but his $15,000, in contrast to mine, was too sweet to pass up with no risk he'd upset the fix.

My guess IS the caucuses are rigged to ensure Huckabee wins.
I'm the only Republican candidate who can save the tax cuts.

Will order the immediate orderly removal of our forces from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Towards the end of Tito's life Yugoslavia held things together with inflation.

"With so few straight available employed men who bathe daily and wear clean clothes nowadays amazing so many men have problems picking up girls.

Here's the advice I gave to my youngest son in adolescence when he asked me about picking up girls.

Explained what I did with considerable success when I still cared about chasing women as a parable I concocted entitled "The Lions and the Antelopes". The lions are really antelopes in disguise except they don't know it. The antelopes know they are really lions. Hence I told the youngster no point in hunting women. Better to stand still so you're easier to catch. Seemed dubious at first but several months later reported with a big smile I was dead on right!"

From the horse WORD DELETED
I've gotten from the party over manipulated straw polls now convinced Gore was cheated out of the White House.

As I wrote on this blog before, I'll be out the door January 9th, 2008 if I can't get a credible vote in New Hampshire.

Why? Means there simply aren't thoughtful people left in the GOP to make it worthwhile to stay.

Have signs posted at key intersections in GOP areas and freeway approaches with the result when I meet folks to chat and hand out brochures many say they've seen them and wondered who I was. So far I have handed out 5000+ borchures.

Dear Critics--In your dreams I'll stop saying what I think here in TRS or elsewhere.

Pretty rich I get cheated openly by the Iowa GOP after winning fair and square Ted's online straw poll outright with 52% to then get removed and then be barred from the ballot at Ames to end up criticized for complaining!

Pretty sure I could have beaten Romney at Ames with 30-45 days to campaign.

I got on FOX live in the best possible way. Campaigning arrived at a restaurant where I planned to have lunch and pass our brochures just as FOX was setting up for a live segment about the campaign at the place.

Clinton's strength is she's the only man in the Democratic race.

Particularly galling is Leon Mosley and Ted Sporer promised me in person I'd be on it by paying the $15,000 listing fee. In fact reassured Leon the night before I'd already written the check to have Craig Robinson the next morning tell me as an unknown I was unqualified for a listing.

Pretty sure I got the vote of a 70ish man, and perhaps some of his family and friends, working as greeter in a Manchester Home Depot. Complained after a lifetime of good paying blue collar work his social security and pension are inadequate.

Heard the same thing today in a rock ribbed NH village from an elderly couple

I copied from the other website so the first person may be confusing to some. In any event go to http://forums.iowafathers.com/tool/post/iowafather/vpost?id=1129117&trail=75#71 to read the damning response to Klein by Ken Richards who briefly knew the man and who Klein now blames for his failed Presidential bid.

I'm voting for John McCain.

Whoa, check out the post at 12:38 as a possible explanation of how Klein (if he ever really did) got into the Military,

"These men were considered
only marginally qualified mentally by many".

So that's it! Thanks, Bob McNamara, see what you unleashed on the world.

Duncan Hunter is the solid conservative running. His voting record and direction as congressman is 100% in complete agreement with his stated platform. He is a solid pro-Life, pro-family, pro-America [Immigration, Tax, Trade] candidate who has matched his talk with his walk. You'll be hard pressed to find another candidate like that. Likewise, his integrity stands above the rest (don't believe me, check out the website http://www.factcheck.org to see the kind of lies that Huckabee and Romney and Guiliani like to throw around).

For the Thompson fans, he isn't as conservative as you think he is. He equivocates too much to be a solid conservative. Put him in charge of investigating Clinton campaign scandals and he finds China involves, yet votes for MFN w/ them, and expands his investigation into non-Clinton issues to appease the liberals on his committee (like examining the Christian Coalition).

Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth-records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; life isn't always fair; and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't
spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not
children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 -year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get
Parental consent to administer Car pool, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became
contraband churches became businesses; and criminals received
better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from
burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman
failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, truth and trust; his wife, discretion; his daughter responsibility; and his son, reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing and kissing your happy aXX good by.

Today we have an opportunity to bring Common Sense back to life in this country.

It is time for us to rise up and take our country back by electing Duncan Hunter as President of the United States.

Today, it seems some have forgotten our beginnings. Instead of Americans with a shared vision, we have become a nation divided. We have become a nation of individuals and groups, each with a special interest vision, often without thought for what is best for the nation. We are, however, a nation that at one time had an immutable vision for all. Duncan Hunter is a man that has a vision for the nation, a vision that includes all men and it’s the same vision that our Founding Fathers held for this nation.

So, I say to you, as a Reagan Republican, I will vote for Duncan Hunter and work to put him in the White House 2008. Please take time to give Duncan Hunter another look, as I did. There is much work to be done. Time is short. Let’s begin - in earnest - and may God Bless our efforts.

PS:
I invite you to join the Duncan Hunter team for America at http://www.gohunter08.com/index.asp and help put him in the White House in 2008. I ask you to donate all you can for America and Freedom, donate to the candidacy of Duncan Hunter.

Respectfully,
Russell M. Scott
