The Culture of Corruption-In Triplicate

Wow, is former New Jersey Governor, Democrat, James McGreevey, not one hell of a man? Not content to crawl to the bottom of the barrel by leaving his wife for another man, far worse than poor Mark Foley, Jim crawled right under with the slugs today.

Yesterday the news broke that Jimmy Mac, a fellow gymnst named Teddy Pederson and ex Mrs. Jimmy Mac, Dina Matos McGreevey were involved in sexual threesomes.

After the ex-Mrs. McGreevey denied the story yesterday, the ex-Governor McGreevey, in what he honest to God claimed was an effort to “move forward for the sake of their 6-year-old daughter” jumped out to
confirm the tale. What a Galahad, eh?

Somehow, the word shameless seems to pale on this occasion.

Maybe she should change her name to "DP Dina."

Don't pay any attention to those billionaires getting bailed out on Wall Street. Look over there! Someone is talking about kinky sex!

Spotlight, please answer this question.

What do you think would be the most likely economic impact on Americans if a large investment bank, like Citigroup or Behrs Stearns?

One is constantly puzzled by your posts and the convoluted English.

Where, exactly, is the question?

I tend to agree with your view of Mr. McGreevey's attempt at clarification. Of course, you, above all of us should realize the benefits of mitigating divorce losses.

Is interesting that McGreevey is condemned for his response and Bill Clinton was condemned for his. A contradiction in values?

Spotlight - you really need to get some batteries in that thing. You people are so ridiculously stupid. It's not wealthy people getting bailed out, douchebag.

It's the people who invested there that are getting helped. Those same ones who are trying to pay their mortgage.

I bet you also believe that gas companies don't include ALL of your taxes in the price per gallon.

Thanks for helping out us little guys by thinking Corporations pay taxes. They don't. They include them in their cost of services.

Why don't liberals ever take an economics course?

Just finished 4 hours of depositions so I'm feeling a little feisty right now.

Sol-not interested in being personally attacked so you got deleted.

Art-the question was the sentence that ended in a "question" mark, so called because it is the English language mark for an inquiry.

You must have missed my point so I'll avoid the irony and be more specific. McGreevey wasn't trying to move on, he was publiclly degrading his wife and claiming to do as a way of helping his child-surely even you (although Spotlight is so partisan that he fears such a concession) would concede to be a horrible thing to do as a human being.

Unlike Bill Clinton, McGreevey wasn't under oath when he made the public statements. He was under no obligation to comment at all. However, apparently not content to have already humiliated his wife and scarred his child, the loathsome puke needed to pour a little more humiliation on the family. Wouldn't a decent man at least have said something like "no comment" while a good man would have defended the wife if, for no other reason, his six year old would think that she had at least one normal decent parent and have otherwise have taken that little bit of dirty laundry to the grave?

Moreoever ol' Hoss, I have to choose my words and edit carefully all day long, so "catching me" in some typo on the blog isn't really much of a feat. But then again, small victories for small people I guess.

Spotlight, no answer to the question posed above? Didn't think so.

Now, time to drive home.

so Art who lays men: Just exactly what is the grammar rule associated with your ridiculous moniker?

As far as we know...and certainly, we could be wrong about the extent of Bill Clintons sexual wants and expressions, but I don't recall Billy Boy being in a three way with Hillary and Janet Reno. So, what is your freakin point?

Geez.

Spotlight doesn't read the news. Spotlight missed all that discussion of Democrats and hedge funds and the hedge funds role in this mess. The fundamental purpose of a hedge fund is to bet against the market. They make their living on bad things happening so they can profit. They are awful and need reformed.

We will not be able to depend on Hillary or Algore, or Edwards. Isn't it funny that liberals who DO get involved in Wall Street do it by betting against and hoping for, a collapsing market in America.

It's anti-americanism, wall street style.

Why do I think you have no idea what I'm talking about, Spotlight? You actually think corporations pay taxes.

Private equity staffs up in Clintonland

Hedge funders have rocketed to the top of Democratic Party donor lists in recent years, reflecting a generational shift on Wall Street that's part of the Democrats' growing money edge.

Democrats have been free to ignore them, though, on high-profile tax issues, and still collect their money — like other donors, their first forays have been about ideology and personal access. That may be changing: now, they're starting to lay out an agenda and act like other interest groups.

Sporer--Your question has a question mark, but it lacks a verb. And you spelled Bear Stearns wrong.

And people hear are calling me ignorant?

Sol, or is your name really Jim McGreevey or Teddy Pederson?

Sounds to me like I hit a nerve, sport.

Hereby dismissed Spearer. I mistakenly had you pegged as someone interested in furthering the discourse on the real issues surrounding this election and our Country in general. In fact you're just another scummy insignificant bum looking to enhance "ratings" with lurid tales of deviancy.

Don't waste your time in responding, sport. I'll not waste any further time with your inane musings.

Sol Leftkowicz!

Spotlight pointed out the problem. A question mark does not a question make.

Don't disagree with your McGreevey stance. His comment was cowardly and selfish with no regard for his child. The children always pay for the childlike behavior of we adults. Don't agree he should have said "no comment" as that is tantamount to admission in today's world. Even if the charges were true he should have lied, under oath or not. Chivalry demands no less.

Trust me I pass on most of your typos, of which there are many, and understand this blog is not your primary profession, net, net, probably a good thing for you. One would think that after a particularly stressful day you would delight in a little needling, unless of course there are complexes involved.

We must all take care not to take ourselves too seriously.
