Mac leads Barack

Johnny Mac has long lead Hillary in the Presidential head to head, but now leads Barack by a small but significant margin.

McCain has entirely shifted the Obama momentum. Even better, Mac leads in the big electoral states of
Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Glad tidings, eh?

it is way to early to talk about any lead for any candidate at this time. Once Obama is in the clear we will have a better idea where our citizens stand. Hillary has been using the Atwater/ Rove tactics yet Obama seems to respond correctly.

Which Mccain will we see? The rational conservative maverick of 1980? The evangelical panderer? or the John McSame that wants 4 more years of Bush Failures?

With the economy, war and erosion of rights as a legacy,Mc Cain has to distance himself from Mr. Bush and talievangelicals.

My question is to all of 29% percenters who called old John every name in the book except a Republican. Can you believe that he is now a Baptist? Can you believe that he will follow your dogma which is to the right of Francisco Franco? Can you believe that he will heal our nation?

It appears that the primaries and caucuses continue to have record turnouts. People have decided to get involved. Don't be fooled that this election won't be a judgement against the Bush administration and the republican leadership from 94-2006.

It is too late to put on a new face at this date. It will not matter who McCain chooses as a running mate if Bubba can't afford $5 buck a gallon gas 4 buck a gallon milk and having his trailer foreclosed.
The military will remember how they and their families were treated by this administration who turned a blind eye to their needs in the field and when they returned home.
This is a time for the GOP to plan another transition, Hopefully, new leadership will respond to the needs of the country rather than the needs of the party.

Gerald,

You should double check your wishful thinking concerning the military voting against a real war hero. NOT A CHANCE PAL! We already vote overwhelmingly Republican and Mac is more popular than ever among the troops. Murtha, Kerry, and Hillary have no such loyalty. Michelle Malkin exposed the “Iraq Veterans Against the War” as a fringe group of little consequence. When one part of your argument is so obviously false it leads me to believe others are as well. Just in case you try to claim the VA was your target it bears mentioning the VA has improved immeasurably and vets get good care. I use the VA routinely when I am in town and have no complaints with the Des Moines facility. I will take it another step and say that the Des Moines facility is fantastic!

I know liberals like to say things and have them repeated as facts regardless of their validity “google it Rosie” but further research is required before making statements the vets will reject John McCain. While you’re at it look at the links below as they offer insight into the so called Iraq anti-war movement.

Hey Teddy - Drudge is reporting on your earlier reported story about Planned Parenthood's racism premise. Your story was headlined "planned parenthooded", When I clicked the link on Drudge, I saw this tidbit from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's niece on the subject. She gets it. She understands how Blacks have been disproportionately exterminated by Planned Parenthood.

MLK would be a conservative republican if alive today.

Good work bringing it up. Rarely do you beat Drudge - Kudos.

As reported in The Advocate, Live Action Films has released two more investigative and hard-hitting videos.

- Planned Parenthood Racism: Features transcripts and audio of racism within Planned Parenthood development departments across the country.

- Condom-man at UCLA: A student takes over 75 condoms from UCLA health services to have an orgy, while health center staff chuckle and encourage him.

Royal college warns abortions can lead to mental illness

Sarah-Kate Templeton, Health Editor

Women may be at risk of mental health breakdowns if they have abortions, a medical royal college has warned.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists says women should not be allowed to have an abortion until they are counselled on the possible risk to their mental health.

This overturns the consensus that has stood for decades that the risk to mental health of continuing with an unwanted pregnancy outweighs the risks of living with the possible regrets of having an abortion.

MPs will shortly vote on a proposal to reduce the upper time limit for abortions “for social reasons” from 24 weeks to 20 weeks, a move not backed by the government.

A Sunday Times poll today shows 59% of women would support such a reduction, with only 28% backing the status quo....

....Dr Peter Saunders, general secretary of the Christian Medical Fellowship, said: “How can a doctor now justify an abortion [on mental health grounds] if psychiatrists are questioning whether there is any clear evidence that continuing with the pregnancy leads to mental health problems.”

The evidence continues to poor in. There is no good "choice" when it comes to an unplanned pregnancy. Each choice involves which hell a 16 year old wishes to live in.

The only "choice" that a woman should make to avoid the Unplanned and Unwanted pregancy is to choose NOT to have sex until they are ready, or PLAN to have children.

Abstinence is the only way to aviod the mental health devastation involved to that 16 year old. There no "free" choice.

Democrats in the legislature have decided it's best to explain to children that it's possible to have sex without consequences.

Don't worry about it kiddos - you can have an abortion later - no biggie - just like clipping a toenail.

Now, we know this path leads to severe mental health consequences for our young women. They ought to be informed of their full medical and mental health risk.

Why don't d's support that? Why are they such an institution in the sex trades?

The Planned Parenthooded story is being reported in the Mainstream Media Idaho Statesman.
--
On the recording provided by The Advocate, an actor portraying a donor said he wanted his money used to eliminate black unborn children because "the less black kids out there the better."

Kersey laughed nervously and said: "Understandable, understandable. ... Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I've had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I'm excited and want to make sure I don't leave anything out."
