Breaking News: RPI's new Treasurer, Gopal Krishna

Reid Houser resigned as RPI Treasurer and was replaced by former Treasurer and CoChair Gopal Krishna.

Gopal brings a strong sense of independence, experience and competence to a position that requires all three in today’s highly regulated environment.

Congratulations Gopal.

Do you really need a treasurer if there is no money to keep track of?

Well done Papa Bear!

How'd you get Reid Houser without actually being on the Central Committee yourself?

Did he resign from the SCC or just as Treasurer?

You did just walk all over his grave.

Well..sounds like the ICA has its hands all over the money at RPI now..

Great! More money ICA can use to shill for the Republican Party. The ICA is less than worthless. Does Scheffler even have a real job or is he just a professional Christian?

Its very simple what this means..If the ICA now has the "power" of the purse..and Scheffler's "Chosen Ones" are on the SCC...the ICA now effectively controls the Republican Party of Iowa.

Stu had better be ready to jump when Scheffler tells him to...

And people wonder why RPI is broke? The professional Christians are running the show.

They are every bit as dangerous as the liberals and the McCainuses.

Now that's kinda of a low blow..

So lets pull it back a little here..

We're entering a very uncertain time here for the RPI now.

The ICA for all intensive purposes is pulling the strings now at RPI. Stu and Caleb's backs are against the wall. When Scheffler says to jump..They had best be jumping.

You can be certain that if certain "non ICA approved" candidates win on Tuesday..that Scheffler will demand no financial/logistical/grassroots support for them from RPI.

For all practical purposes..our candidates from now on are now going to have to kiss the proverbial "ring" of Scheffler to get his "blessing"

You mean kiss Scheffler's ass. RPI is a dead organization anyway. Fuck them. The problem is, Scheffler is the Je$$e Jack$on of Iowa. There are a lot of ICA members who are mind numbed robots who will mindlessly pull the "R" lever and tolerate any and all abuses of power from government agencies because the people in charge will be Christians.

Again, does Scheffler have a real job?

Well, this is one recovering ICA and RPI donor. Our family used to give to both organizations. We now give to neither and haven't since 2006. It is obvious we're better off giving to a candidate with whom we know our money will be spent wisely. RPI and ICA have not given us reason to trust them to handle anything.

Republicans in control of House, Senate, and Pres = financial incompetence
ICA and RPI in charge of the state party = financial incompetence

I'm beginning to sense a pattern here.

Nobody has answered my question yet:

Does Scheffler have a real job?

How about the people running for office actually give a shit about the people who fucking vote for them? Why would the very hard working volunteers at ICA work very hard for candidates who don't even try to pass an agenda or act like there is any kind of an agenda?

We are in the mess we are in because there is a HUGE disconnect between the voter and the votee. The voter has been fucked and the votee is, well....in the minority.

I guess all those really successfull elected officials can find new volunteers to do the phone calling and the door knocking and all the other grunt work those Branstad/Iverson/Gross/JoyCorning/Yepson republicans won't do because they are "busy" with their weekends having a "life".

Shefflers real job is voter turnout. Those that forget that, regret that.

Anonymous said...

Well..he's done a hellva job hasnt he?

We've lost the Gov, House, Senate in Iowa the past 3 elections..

Sounds like his turnout operations have fallen flat on their face.

Like I said in a previous post, he is the Je$$e Jack$on of Iowa. His power is based on how many mind numbed robots he can herd into a polling site to pull the R lever.

His "job" is voter turnout? Working about four months every two years? Where do I sign up?

Seriously, what is his real job?

Be sure to check on the candidates you give your money to. A large percentage of them take the money you give them and turn it over to the RPI/ICA group.

The Steve Deace wing of the Republican Party is taking over....and in November it will be the end of the Republican Party in Iowa.

Anonymous said...

Unlike ICA, Steve Deace understands basic economics.

So who would turn out voters but for ICA, ITR and IRTL? We ain't winning because the people those wonderful people vote for shit on them after they get in office.

Rants and Iverson have been in charge of our losses and they shit on the volunteers and voters more than anyone. They refuse to listen to the voters and just do what's personally beneficial to them.

The voters are pissed off.

Anonymous said...

And...RPI is already dead. That's because of Iverson and Rants thinking there are some other voters to whom they should cowtow. Who are those voters? They aren't there. They don't vote. They have a "life" to live. Lots of Golf to play. Trying to fix this state isn't a priority for them. It's simply the quest for personal power.

Voters are pissed at every level of government all across the nation. 14% congress etc. Every level of government has broken.

We want change alright. Change from campaigns that say nothing and electeds that do nothing but play nice at the tea party.

The republican base is crumbling. In fact they are by and large not even republican. The group of people that IRLC/ICA turnout is small and would already vote republican. The issues that they turn people out on make up 1-2% of what real people care about. Yeah people want a pro-life pro-marriage candidate but if they have no ideas or charisma then who cares. We want someone who is going to go do something and if they have nothing to offer STEP DOWN!!!!! ICA/IRLC's drumbeat down out throats is killing the party and our energy. Give the voters something to vote for!!!
