Iowa Democrats: government in the shadows (or how to conceal socialism).

The Iowa Democrat leadership, be it the Gronstal/Murphy/McCarthy oligarchy of bullies that tyrannize the General Assembly, or Gov. Chet “Big Lug” Culver’s misfeasance in motion at Terrace Hill, certainly has demonstrated a clearly unified agenda of secrecy.

Yesterday’s
report by Dave “The Taxpayers Watchdog” Vaudt disclosed that the Democrat leadership had inappropriately shifted some $420 million into special accounts to conceal the unlawful deficit spending that they employed to further socialize Iowa. Such legerdemain should hardly come as a surprise.

These Iowa Democrats aren’t big spending liberals, they are committed socialists. The massive deficit, incurred at a time that Iowa’s tax burden has already crippled our economy and business climate, is the cost of that creeping socialism.

The Democrats know that they are on the brink of long term victory because we now have a generation that has been educated in the most radically socialist environment-public schools, and letting the public discover the near bankruptcy in which a decade of Democrat governance has placed this state before they can make everyone dependent on the government and, hence controlled by the government.

Wikipedia: "As an economic system, socialism is often characterized by government ownership of the means of production."

So, Spouter, which means of production has the state of Iowa taken over?--------Spotlight

I dont mean to slide off the subject, but I was wondering if you heard about Jamie Johnson? He is runnng for the 9th HD. I understand it is important to check the Gronstal/Murphy/McCarthy socialism at every turn, but the best way to do this is by attacking the liberals where they are weakest (in HD 9) and winning our majority back. I'll get off my soap box now.

Thanks Sporer, give em hell!

Our raison d'ĂȘtre here at TRS

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” John Stuart Mill

We at The Real Sporer believe that the crises of our generation is the preservation of a United States of America based on fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Oddly enough, our generation, that grew in the quiet and secure 50s, 60s and 70s and thought we could escape history now find ourselves at the cross roads of history. At a time when the prevailing media, academic and even now industrial elites find the easy road of paternalistic socialist totalitarianism more expedient to travel we are convinced that only preserving the more traditional America will better provide the well known blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to us and our posterity.

In the real world, the Republican freedom agenda is the only alternative to the thought police and rations commissar of the socialist nanny state. But the agenda that we share with the founding generation, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, will never again prevail if we don't fight our generation's battle to renew America's commitment to freedom with our socialist adversaries.

Our mission statement is therefore clear: provide the information and argument that leads to a Republican Renaissance and Republican governance.
