The map gets redder.

We haven’t had much of an opportunity to update the Electoral College maps. It certainly appears that the maps are getting redder.

First, the Democrat website we link to left (
Electoral-vote.com) shows a very close Electoral College count. EVC uses the most recent poll to evaluate a state. We have been using EVC as a resource since 2004 and it was pretty accurate last time around.

Second, we checked in with Real Clear Politics. Real Clear uses a rolling average to assign Electoral College votes. Using a consistent methodology of excluding anything but mathematical ties from the toss up category the
Real Clear rolling map now gives McCain an Electoral College majority for the first time since the primaries ended.

Jolly good we say. Jolly good.

More people know who Shawn Johnson and Michael Phelps are than John McCain and Barrack Obama at this point. Check back in mid-Sept when normal people actually start thinking about the election.

Funny, that's not what you libs were saying back when Obama was "the one for whom we've all been waiting".

Yes, the democrats are having multiple orgasms over Barack "it's above my pay grade" Odummy. I think I heard Nancy Pelosi have one live on national TV.

"God brought us our savior, the ONE, the Obama - the ONE that can save the world - ooh, ah, ooh, yes, right there - a little harder oby - I'm almost there, oby, obY oBY, OBBYYY!"

I've been wondering how Michael Jackson has been making a living of late considering he's in debt to the tune of millions.

Is Bary "oh oh oh" Bama paying royalties to him for his song "We are the World"? Obama is using the lyrics as his campaign plan.

It's the 80's baby - where is my....O-Kaine?

If Oby uses Hillary's model and Kaine is his Co-President, will he be called CoKaine?

YESTERDAY I HEARD SOME RADIO TALKSHOW HOST SAYING THAT MCCAIN MAY HAVE IN MIND A GUY FOR VP WHO IS PROCHOICE. HE SAID THE REPUBLICANS WERE THREATENING. AS A DEM WHO HAS SEEN THE GOOD CHOICES FOR A DEM PRES VANISH AND IS NOW FACED WITH THE CHOICE OF A DEM CANDIDATE WHO IS UNEXCEPTABLE AND A REPUBLICAN WHO SEEMS A LITTLE BETTER I ASK " IS IT BETTER TO HAVE A VP WHO WILL NOT TURN ME AWAY OR ONE WHO WILL NOT TO REPUBLICANS AWAY?" AFTER ALL WHO ARE THE REPUBLICANS GOING TO VOTE FOR IF THEY DON'T LIKE MCCAIN'S VP CHOICE- OBAMA?

The leadership of the Iowa delegation to the RNC convention should think about the actions you have taken today.

Between now and November 4th we elect Republicans.

On the 5th of November you and your supporters will be hung in the court of public opinion like the traitorous bastards you are.

Im not waiting for November. I am no longer voting for non-conservative Republicans.

I actually went door to door in Ames for Bob Barr and it looks pretty wide open, lots of conservative minded people that will not vote for McCain.

I hope you get a chance to check out Bob Barr's site...

Im not trying to push him off onto anyone, but he is a conservative first.
