Sam's a great guy, and would have made a terrific President. He'd make a great AG in the next administration or Kansas Gov. in 2010.

I suspect we will hear from Sam again.

Federal authorities have alleged that the senator threatened "to return to the state Medicaid office and ensure that Security Plus would not be a Medicaid vendor if payments were not made to him."

McCoy, a Democrat who has represented parts of Des Moines¹ south and west sides since 1996, faces up to 20 years in prison if he is convicted of violating the Hobbs Act, a 60-year-old federal anti-racketeering law.

It should be noted that not one single democrat has critized Senator McCoy, let alone call for his resignation. He's a proud member of their most august body.

They don't even think this is a problem.

Senator Craig and Representative Foley were only guilty of maybe being gay. The people that vilified them the most were democrats.

They have no opinion on Senator "I lied to my wife and kids for decades" McCoy with his current issue of conscious.

Mark Penn, the pollster and senior strategist of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, predicted Thursday that nearly a quarter of Republican women would defect from the GOP if the New York senator is the Democratic presidential nominee in 2008.

Shillary's main polster displays again how they depend on people not doing their own research. They know D's don't, so they assume R's don't.

Not true. Republicans are the party of American values and American ideals, not categories.

We, all Republicans, vote for the content of the character and not the gender, color or ethnicity of their skin.

Democrats vote in categories. They don't believe that all men are created equal.

Republican women will not vote for a woman just because they are a woman.

Does Hillary think that Blacks will vote for Barack just because he's black?

Does Hillary think that the VERY LARGE Hispanic population is going to vote for Bill just because he's of Mexican descent?

Does Hillary think that Joe Biden has a lock on the hair plugs crowd?

Does HIllary think that John Edwards has a lock on Hair Professionals?

Listen...kids say the darndest things

I wonder if Democrat Matt McCoy was just doin it for the kids.

If that number ends up with any credibility at all, as a republican woman, I announce my intention to sign up for the committee to repeal the 19th amendment so women can't vote.

We will have deserved that as a gender.

I'm not voting for Hillary because she's a woman, I'm voting for her because I wear pant suits to work every day too.

Brooks, who has pleaded not guilty of 19 felony counts, is scheduled to be in court at 10 a.m.

Matt Whitaker for Governor! Matt Whitaker for Attorney General! Throw Tom Miller out!!!!!

Thanks Matt. You are nearly single handedly cleaning up Polk County government.

I never thought I'd live to see it.

If Quack Klein wasn't going to be our next president, he'd kick Miller's ass any day of the week. He'd be so awesome at that job that the governor himself would resign and appoint Quack Klein the new gov. But God is calling Quacky to the White House

Quack Klein--Fuck Yea!!
