Governor Jan Brewer: The Face of Political Heroism

When was the last time anyone really defied the political and media establishment? When was the last time anyone was willing to face the thought police of political correctness?

About 1980.

Jan Brewer may not be Ronald Reagan but she is certainly showing a bigger pair and a stiffer spine than anyone we've seen travel down the Republican road since the Gipper defied the imbecility of conventional wisdom about the relationship between the governed and the governors. Governor Brewer is even facing the onslaught of the progressive socialists' hardest and lowest blow-the incendiary slander of racism.

Don't lose your nerve Jan Brewer! Your 85% approval rating tells you all you need to know.

Hopefully Governor Brewer's soaring approval ratings, in a heavily Hispanic state no less, are singing the Ballad of Fenrir to other Republican leaders.

Still looking for that new Reagan, I see.

Speaking of R characters, what's up with that Rand Paul guy? Why can't he answer even the simplest, direct questions? Is this the kind of change the tea sippers want? Somehow I doubt it.

I'd be worried about just how tough you'd have to be growing up with the name "Rand". That should scare the libs to death.
